    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suck and discharge oil and fat and organic foreign matter floating on the water surface so as to prevent the generation of scum by providing timers corresponding to two water level switches corresponding to two kinds of water levels, and stopping an underwater pump in response to the completion of operation of one of the timers. CONSTITUTION:When bilge flows in a tank 1 through an inflow pipe 9 and the water lever is raised to operate HW float switch 11, a pump 2 is operated to start drainage. When the water level is lowered and a LW float switch 12 is exposed to the water surface to open a contact of the float switch, a LW timer T1 starts operating. When the water level is further lowered and a LLW float switch 13 is exposed to the water surface to open a contact of the float switch 13, a LLW timer T2 starts operating. When the level difference between a suction port of the pump 2 and the water surface is decreased according to lowering of the water level, floating matter on the water surface is sucked to be discharged. When the preset time of one of the timers T1, T2 elapses, the pump 2 is stopped.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration regardless of the position of use of a motor by rotatably supporting a motor rotator on a supporting shaft via radial bearing and on a mounting base via thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A motor rotator 6 is supported rotatably via radial bearing 4 between a supporting shaft 2 and the rotator and supported rotatably via thrust bearing 9 between a mounting base 1 and the rotator. Also, a part of the thrust bearing 9 extends externally of the rotator 6 and further the radial bearing 4 and thrust bearing 9 respectively form dynamic pressure bearings generating a fluid dynamic pressure between the fixed side and moving side. Then, a rotor magnet group 8 is fixed at the lower end of the rotator 6, inside from the thrust bearing 9 and in the lower part of the radial bearing 4, and a stator coil group 5 is fixed at a mounting base 1 in the manner of facing the rotor magnet group 8. Also, a gap is provided between the stator coil group 5 and rotor magnet group 8.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the suction efficiency and shorten the length in the axial direction of a whole pump by making a main pump into a capacity type pump and making a booster pump into a vortex pump, in the combination pump in which the main pump and the booster pump are integrated. CONSTITUTION:A main pump consists of a gear pump in which a driving gear 2 and a driven gear 4 are engaged with each other, and the vane wheel 21 of a centrifugal pump as booster pump is installed at the edge of a driving shaft 1. The vane wheel 21 is supported in concentric form in a vortex pump chamber 22 inside the casing part 20 of the centrifugal pump which is formed integratedly outside the rear cover 16 of the gear pump. The vortex pump chamber 22 is formed at a part of the inner peripheral surface of the casing part 20 of the centrifugal pump, and in the vortex pump chamber 22, a suction port 24 and a discharge port 25 are opened contiguously on the circumference on the both sides, keeping a partitioning part 23 which suppresses leak by the peripheral surface of the vane wheel 21 and a narrow gap. The discharge port 25 forms the introducing part of a flow passage 12 to the gear pump.
