Abstract: According to an example, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine readable instructions that are to cause the processor to determine a number of 3D object formation cycles that a batch of build material particles has undergone. The instructions may also cause the processor to identify a feature for a fiduciary object to be supplied among the build material particles, in which the feature is based upon to the determined number of 3D object formation cycles, and control a supply device to supply a fiduciary object having the identified feature among the build material particles.

Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a printing device is described. The printing device includes a single thermal printhead that includes an array of heating elements. The array of heating elements are selectively powered to form content on both sides of thermal media passing thereby. Different sides of the thermal media have thermal dye layers with different activation sensitivities. The printing device also includes a media transport system to move the thermal media by the single thermal printhead. A controller of the printing device generates printed content on both sides of the thermal media in a single pass by powering the single thermal printhead based on both content to be formed on a first side and content to be formed on a second side.

The spreader cooler is in thermal conductive contact with the build material spreader. The spreader cooler has a second fluid conduit extending along the length. The cooling fluid supply directs cooling fluid in a first direction through the first fluid conduit and in a second direction, opposite the first direction, through the second fluid conduit.

Abstract: In some examples, an additive manufacturing process may be operated by a method that includes depositing a plurality of preliminary layers of build material over a build surface and applying thermal energy governed by closed-loop control to heat the preliminary layers. The method includes analyzing a temperature distribution across a layer of the preliminary layers to map the locations of any hot spots relative to the build surface. The method includes selecting a spray pattern to apply a cooling agent to the mapped locations.

The greyscale color includes a first luminosity amount. A black channel amount is adjusted to a depletion color from a second color space to form a target color in the second color space. The depletion color corresponds with a transformation of the source color into the second color space. The depletion color includes a second luminosity amount, and adjusting the black channel includes matching the second luminosity amount in the target color with the first luminosity amount.

A diverter valve in the valve body is operated by a valve actuator, wherein the diverter valve directs build material from the top opening to the bottom opening when the valve actuator is in a first position and directs build material from the top opening into a build material container through the front opening when the valve actuator is in a second position.
