Abstract: The invention relates to the equipping of an elevator (1, 2) with hardware i n order to control the same. This hardware is provided in the form of a customary radio telephone (3) which serves as a unit for controlling the elevator. The radio telephone (3), also designated as mobile, comprises a keypad (4) provided as a data entry unit, and comprises a display element (5), also named display, which is provided as a data outpu t unit. The mobile (3) can wirelessly communicate with a mobile radio telephone network (6), whereby speech and/or data can be transmitted. The mobile radio telephone network (6) can contact other mobiles or a terminal (7) in order to transmit speech and/ or data. The terminal (7) is comprised of a computer system, designated as server (8), which has access to a memory (9) containing elevator-specific and/or general information. The server (8) is also connected to the elevator system (1, 2) via an interface (10). The mobile (3), mobile radio telephone network (6) and terminal (7) form a human-machin e interface between the user and the elevator system (1, 2).

Abstract: In this elevator control an elevator user creates on a user terminal (3) his individual program (2), which is adapted to his needs, for operating the elevator. To write the program (2) the user terminal (3) has a keypad and a screen. Depending on identification, the user can access the entire command. set or only certain commands. The user program (2) is transmitted to a terminal (4) by means of wireless communication. From the terminal (4) the user program (2) proceeds to a program control (1) with a task manager (5) which adds to the user programs (2) of all terminals (4) data required for execution and stores them in a memory (6). The task manager (5) initiates the execution of the executable user programs by an interpreter (7) which interprets the executable programs (2) step by step. In the case of elevator-specific instructions such as, for example, travel commands or door opening commands, the interpreter (7) calls up an interface (8) which initiates the further execution by an elevator control (9).

Abstract: In order to control an elevator door (6) of an elevator car (10), which can be moved between floors (L1, L2, L3) of a building (2), at least one registered destination call is evaluated. By evaluating the destination call, a number of boarding or disembarking passengers can be planned for each stopping floor. A corresponding door opening holding time of the elevator door (6) is determined for each stopping floor in order to allow a registered passenger to board or disembark on a stopping floor. Furthermore, a number of passengers disembarking the elevator car (10) on the stopping floor and a number of passengers boarding the elevator car (10) on the stopping floor are determined. A closing of the elevator door (6) is triggered regardless of the determined door opening holding time if the number of passengers disembarking and boarding on the stopping floor, said number being determined by the sensor system (4), matches the number of boarding or disembarking passengers planned for the stopping floor.
