    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent composition for oral cavity having excellent activities for removing dirt on or between teeth not by a mechanical action but by a physicochemical action. SOLUTION: This composition for the oral cavity contains a cyclic carbonic ester compound and water in specific proportions. The water and the cyclic carbonic ester in a ratio regulated so as to form a two-phase state when mixed are formulated in the composition for the oral cavity. When the composition contains a polyhydric alcohol besides them, the water, the polyhydric alcohol and the cyclic carbonic aster compound in the ratio regulated so as to form the two phase state when mixed, and formulated in the composition for the oral cavity.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milled soap composition which can inexpensively produce milled solid soaps with the use of the conventional milled soap production facilities without adversely affecting the basic performance such as lathering properties and a feeling of use in spite of having increased the water content of several % to about 10% in the conventional solid milled soap by a water content of more than 15%. SOLUTION: The milled soap composition is constituted of component (a) of a fatty acid soap (21-81 wt.%), component (b) of water (18-45 wt.%), component (c) of a polyoxyalkylene type nonionic surface active agent (0.5-7 wt.%), component (d) of sodium chloride (0.4-7 wt.%), and component (e) of a polyoxyalkylene glycol (0.1-20 wt.%).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bar soap which does not leave behind thin fragments of solid soap on the inner surface of a molding container by compounding a fatty acid soap, a nonionic surfactant, an inorganic salt and a silicone in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This bar soap is prepared by compounding (A) 20-50 wt.% fatty acid soap, (B) 1-15 wt.% nonionic surfactant, (C) 0.1-5 wt.% inorganic salt and (D) 0.1-5 wt.% silicone. Before poured into a molding container (a mold), the melt is preferably whipped to a vol. fraction of air bubbles of 10% or higher. Preferably, ingredient A contains an alkali metal salt of an 8-22C saturated fatty acid soap, especially a sodium salt, in a content of 80% or higher, still preferably contains at least 25 wt.% lauric acid soap. Ingredient B is preferably a compound having a polyoxyethylene group of which the average number of ethylene oxide units is 6-150. Sodium chloride is preferable as ingredient C. Dimethylsilicone and methylphenylsilicone are preferable as ingredient D.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in foaming power and feel when used, causing no its swelling up or deformation of shape with its dissolution, also affording the skin after use with dampishness, comprising a surfactant, a liquid or semi-solid oil and a gelling agent at specified proportions. CONSTITUTION:This detergent composition comprises (A) 35-98wt.% of surfactant, (B) 1-30wt.% of a liquid or semi-solid oil (pref. vaseline or coconut oil) and (C) 0.01-5wt.% of a gelling agent (e.g. 12-hydroxystearic acid, dibenzylidene sorbitol). For the component A, in general, when the objective solid detergent is a soap, an oxide of fatty oil or an alkalineutralized product of fatty acid is used; when the solid detergent is a combination bar, a saponified product or neutralized product of the oxide of fatty oil or a synthetic surfactant is used; or when the solid detergent is a syndet bar, a synthetic surfactant is used. This synthetic surfactant is pref. an alkyl sulfate or sulfobetaine.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a hair-treating agent containing an aqueous component comprising a surfactant, an alcohol and water and a liquid oil having a viscosity lower than the aqueous component, capable of readily removing stains and having good touch and stability. CONSTITUTION:0.05-15 wt.% of a surfactant, 0.5-40 wt.% of an alcohol and 0.1-25 wt.% of water are homogeneously mixed each other and further mixed with 20-98 wt.% of a liquid oil to provide the objective agent. A ratio between the viscosity of the aqueous component and the viscosity of the oil component is necessary to be >= 1. The agent may be, if necessary, compounded with a humectant, a blood circulation-accelerating agent, a cooling agent, an UV absorbent, a sterilizer, a perfume, etc. The agent can be applied as a shampoo, pre-shampoo, hairdressing cream remover, dandrull-removing agent, etc., in an O/W type emulsified transparent-semitransparent jelly.
