Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance shift preventing effect, by a method wherein the first layer of a shift preventing layer is formed from a polymer binder having a crosslinked structure and specific physical properties and a foam of heat-foamable polymer beads while the second layer thereof is formed from a specific polymer. CONSTITUTION:The shift preventing layer 1 provided to at least a part of a non-contact surface with the skin consists of the first layer provided on the non-contact surface with the skin and the second layer 4 provided thereon, and the first layer has a crosslinked structure and consists of a polymer binder 2 having glass transition temp. of 30 deg.C or less, breaking strength of 7-200kg/cm and elongation of 200% or more and a foam of heat-foamable polymer beads 3 while the second layer 4 is composed of a polymer having glass transition temp. of 30 deg.C or less. Each of the heat-foamable polymer beads 3 is constituted so that the shell wall thereof is formed from a thermoplastic resin and a low b.p. compound such as butane or isopentane is contained in the shell thereof and foams because the resin is softened by heating and the low b.p. compound is gasified to expand. By this method, a mount position at the time of use is easily determined and effective shift preventing effect can be developed with respect to various movements at the crotch part of a human body during use.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the aggregation of a latex and occurrence of foams and obtain the titled latex having improved quality without offensive smell, by using an agitated film evaporator with a gap between the tips of agitating blades and the inner wall of a cylinder at a specific width.
CONSTITUTION: A gap between the tips of agitating blades 1 and the inner wall of a cylinder 2 of an agitated film evaporator is kept at 1W10mm, and a shaft having the agitating blades 1 is rotated. A raw material latex is continuously fed from an inlet 3, and a heating medium is simultaneously fed from an inlet 5 to keep the interior of the cylinder 2 at a temperature of preferably 60°C or below and evaporate the unreacted monomer. The treated latex is then led from a treated solution outlet 4 to a gas-liquid separator. An emulsion polymer containing vinyl acetate is preferred as the raw material latex, and the operation is preferably carried out under reduced pressure conditions of 150mmHg abs. or below.
