Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a cement dispersing agent effective for increasing the fluidity of concrete, mortar or paste compounded with hydraulic cement, preventing the lowering of the fluidity with the lapse of time, remarkably improving the entrained bubble stability and improving the applicability and workability of the concrete, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective cement dispersing agent contains (A) a high condensation product of naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde or its salt, (B) a copolymer of an ethylenic carboxylic acid and an ethylenic carboxylic acid ester or its salt and (C) a copolymer of an olefin and an ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and/or a scarcely water-soluble salt of the copolymer having an average particle diameter of 0.1-50mum and an average molecular weight of 500-50,000 at weight ratios (A)/(B)/(C) or (5-50)/(50-95)/(0.5-10). The workability and the amount of entrained air of the concrete can be maintained at definite levels over a long period by the use of the cement dispersing agent of the present invention.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve preservation stability by incorporating a granular body of the Zn salt of a copolymer obtained by allowing ZnO or Zn(OH)2 to react with the copolymer of specific olefin and anhydride of ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:Anhydride of ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, such as maleic anhydride, is copolymerized with 2-8C olefin, such as isobutylene, by which a copolymer where average molecular weight is regulated to about 500-50,000 and the anhydride of ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid is contained by 30-60 pts.wt. in 100 pts.wt. of the copolymer is prepared. The granular body of this copolymer is dispersed into water and pH value is regulated to 6-9, and a granular body of ZnO or Zn(OH)2 of neutralization equivalent is added to the above and these are allowed to react at 50-95 deg.C, by which a Zn salt of copolymer is prepared. This Zn salt is crushed into a granular body of 0.1-50mum grain size, and this Zn salt of copolymer and a water-reducing admixture, e.g. of lignosulfonic acid type are combinedly used in a ratio of 1/99-99/1, by which a cement admixture can be obtained.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent sustained release performance from deteriorating even in preservation for a long period by dispersing a fine particulate olefin- ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride copolymer and zinc (hydr) oxide in water and using the resultant dispersion as an admixture for cement. CONSTITUTION:An admixture for cement obtained by dispersing 100 pts.wt. fine particulate copolymer of a 2-8C olefin with an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride having 0.1-20mum, desirably 0.1-5mum average particle diameter, preferably isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer (preferably about 500-50000 average molecular weight) and zinc oxide or hydroxide containing zinc in an amount of 1-2mol based on one ring in the copolymer in an amount of 15-300 pts.wt., desirably 40-100 pts.wt. expressed in terms of zinc in combination in water at pH 6-12. The above-mentioned admixture for cement is capable of both preventing performance of operability on concrete, etc., from deteriorating with time and remarkably improving preservation stability in water.

PURPOSE: To obtain slurry of fine silica powder having excellent storage stability, by compounding fine silica powder, water, a fatty acid or oil or their derivative, a dispersant and an emulsifier. CONSTITUTION: A slurry of fine silica powder is produced by compounding 100pts.wt. of fine silica powder, 25W300pts. of water, 1W200pts. of a fatty acid (salt), oil or fat, and/or their derivative, 0W10pts. of a dispersant and 0W10pts. of an emulsifier, and dispersing the components at a shear rate of 10 2 W10 7 sec -1 . PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To degas the air of a working face and obtain a smooth surface scarcely having bubbling trace by laying a self-leveling floor material after aqueous solution of surfactant having specific surface tension is applied on the working face. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution is obtained from a surfactant whose surface tension is 65-15 mN/m, after spray is applied on a concrete face after hardening, a self-leveling material is poured, and hardening is performed without smoothing with trowel. The air of the working face is degassed by applying surfactant aqueous solution on the working face of a concrete slab or the like, and the smooth surface scarcely having bubbling trace can be obtained. In other words, the permeation effect of the self-leveling material are expressed by lowering interface tension between the working face and the self-leveling material, degassing action is improved, and adhesion with a finishing member is excellent.
