    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of the title composite film which is tough and excellent in thermal and chemical stability, by polymerizing a monomer of a conjugated polymer through electrochemical oxidation in a solution containing a cation exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A monomer (A) of a conjugated polymer (e.g., pyrrole) is polymerized through electrochemical oxidation in a polar solvent in which a cation exchanger (B) of a size of 0.3-10mum and a cation exchange capacity >=0.1meq/g (e.g., sulfonated PS) is dispersed by applying a voltage of 0.2-30V between the immersed electrodes; after a predetermined quantity of electricity is applied, the anode is withdrawn and washed; this anode is immersed in a separate electrolyte containing component A and a supporting electrolyte; and a voltage is applied between the electrodes to obtain the title composite film. This composite is optionally laminated with a porous supporting film.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an optical recording material having excellent environmental stability, by providing a particle layer comprising single dispersed particles arranged in order on a surface of a substrate, and reading the presence or absence of diffracted light from the particle layer or the differences in the magnitude of the diffracted light as signal information. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording material strongly reflects only rays of a specified wavelength as a recording signal, and the wavelength of the rays reflected as the recording signal can be arbitrarily varied by varying the size of single dispersed particles used as the recording medium. For example, when spherical single dispersed particles having a diameter of 0.15-0.4mum constitute a regulated structure, the surface of the particle layer emits monochroic rays with clear metallic luster due to the diffraction of visible rays. As a substrate 1, any of conventionally known substrates may be used. The thickness of the regulated structure layer 2 is preferably 0.5-10.0mum, from the viewpoints of higher intensity of diffracted rays and higher accuracy in writing. A hardened layer 3 is provided for fixing the regulated structure layer 2, and it is necessary to pay attention to the refractive index of a resin being used therefor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metallic material having an excellent liquid repulsive property by immersing a soln. prepd. by dissolving a fluoroalkyl phosphate compd. in an org. solvent into a metallic surface which is smooth or has a fine rugged structure. SOLUTION: This liquid repulsive metallic material is formed by coating the whole or part of the metallic surface having the fine rugged structure, in which the height of the rugged structure is of the metallic surface is >=3cm , the contact area when a smooth rigid body is placed on the surface of the rugged structure is per 1cm rigid body surface or the actual surface area per 1cm metallic surface of the rugged structure is >=30 to , with the fluoroalkyl phosphate. The liquid repulsive metallic material stated in any described above is otherwise obtd. by forming the metallic surface having the fine rugged structure by mechanical polishing or cutting of the metallic surface, contact of the metallic surface with an acid or alkaline soln., corroding of the metallic surface or electrolysis using the metal as an electrode or casting of the metal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To coat the surface of a metal having the contact angle to water below a specific value and a finely rugged structure with a water-repellent substance and to improve the snow clogging and icing resistances of the resultant metallic material. CONSTITUTION: A metallic material having surface seen as a plane. The width and height of the finely rugged structure are regulated to 1-300nm. The coating may be carried out by treating the surface of the metal with various coupling agents. The water- repellent substance is, e.g., a silane coupling agent such as trichloroalkylsilane, trimethoxyalkylsilane or tri-ethoxyalkylsilane. The resultant metallic material is utilized as a building material for a cold district, a shelf in a warehouse for refrigeration, etc.
