Abstract: The tube, to adapt a microscope, has a tube housing (3), an adaptation interface (4), a beam deflection unit (5), additional beam guides (7) and an operating interface (8). The deflection unit carries the light beam from the adaptation interface on an optical axis (6) generally on a given plane at least in sections, and from the additional beam guides to the operating interface. A relative movement of the tube housing together with the additional beam guides and the operating interface to the microscope (2) is on a direction parallel to the plane. The given plane is parallel to a tube exchange surface or parallel to an upper housing surface (9) of the microscope, or is generally horizontal.

Abstract: The assembly for an adaptor tube (26), for a microscope (1), has an adaptation interface (2), a rotating operating interface (3), a beam deflector (4) and a rotating beam deflector (5). The light beam is deflected from the adaptation interface towards the rotating deflector, which is moved by the rotating operating interface to give an optical documentation interface (11) for a television or camera adaptor. The beam deflector has a beam divider component group (6) with a deflection prism (7) and a Bauernfeind prism (9).
