    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the density of the title density of the title material and to improve adhesiveness and foam strength by compounding a specified phenolic resin compsn. with two polyethers, an org. polyisocyanate, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and a foaming agent and foaming the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A benzyl ether liq. phenol resin compsn. (A) (e.g. a phenol polyol with a hydroxyl number of 480mgKOH/g) is compounded with 5-15% arom. amine polyether (B) (e.g. an arom. amine polyether with a hydroxyl number of 460mgKOH/g using tolylenediamine as an initiator) based on the component A and 20-40% non-amino polyether (C) (e.g. a non-amino polyether with a hydroxyl number of 410mgKOH/g using trimethylolpropane as an initiator) based on the component A. Then, an org. polyisocyanate (D), a catalyst (E), a foam stabilizer (F) and a foaming agent (G) consisting of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane are compounded therewith and the mixture is foamed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a heat insulation wall with decreased thermal conductivity and improved heat insulation properties, by foaming a foamable heat insulation material comprising a specific benzylic ether-type liq. phenolic resin compsn. integrally with a surfacing material comprising an ABS resin. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulation wall is produced by foaming a foamable heat insulation material comprising a mixture of a benzylic ether-type liq. phenolic resin compsn., 10-15wt.% (based on the resin compsn.) polyethers prepd. using a non-amine active hydrogen compound as the initiator, a catalyst, a cell stabilizer and an org. polyisocyanate, integrally with a surfacing material comprising an ABS resin. The foamable heat insulation material adheres very well to and chemically attacks slightly the surfacing material during the integral foaming, and does not cause whitening, cracks and delamination in the surfacing material even after a long-time use, thus enabling a significant quality improvement.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability and prevent the generation of vibration and noise by installing a rotary shaft consisting of a superconductive body covered by a nonmagnetic material and a bearing consisting of a permanent magnet for holding said rotary shaft, in the bearing device of a driving device. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive member 2 is press-fitted into a rotary shaft 1. A bearing 3 consists of a permanent magnet and shaft-stops the rotary shaft 1. The top edge part 1a of the rotary shaft 1 is worked to a narrower form towards the top edge. A perfect diamagnetism (Meissner effect) acts onto the superconductive body 2 press-fitted into the rotary shaft 1, which is held in suspension by the bearing 3. Therefore, the abrasion resistance and seizureproofness can be improved, and vibration and noise can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a foam having fine voids, by using a resin prepared by mixing specific amt. of a benzyl ether type phenol and a low viscous polyol as a foamable base material. CONSTITUTION:5-20wt.% a low viscosity polyol (ethylene oxide adduct of a polyhydric alcohol having primary hydroxyl groups) are added to 80-95wt.% benzyl ether type phenol resin and moreover, a foaming agent, an organic polyisocyanate, a catalyst and a foam stabilizer are added to these resins. This foaming raw material is mixed in a foaming machine 8 and poured from a pouring inlet 6 toward a frange 5. As 5-20wt.% of low viscosity polyol and used together, the raw material rapidly flows in the frange 5 after pouring, and is uniformly spread and foamed to obtain a heat insulating box 1 having a low density and finely foamed heat insulating material 4'.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of fault current, corrosion abrasion and improper cooling by providing an ion sensor at a position immersed in refrigerator oil contained in a closed casing for sealing a refrigerant and refrigerator oil, thereby detecting the change of an acid number before the generation of a large amount of acid and harmful substance. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 is rotated with a motor section 12 and actuates a piston 5, thereby compressing a refrigerant in a compression chamber 7 formed with a sub-bearing 3, a bearing 4 and a cylinder 6. In this case, the temperature of a closed type compressor rises, due to compression heat and heat generation at the motor section 12. On the other hand, a compressed refrigerant performs a cooling process in a refrigeration system, and returns to the compressor. Furthermore, a mixture of the refrigerant and refrigerator oil is supplied to a machine section for lubrication via an oil feed device 8. In this case, the water content of the mixture is dissolved in the refrigerator oil, and the potential of an ion sensor 16 is varied with an increase in the acid number of the refrigerator oil due to acid generated via reaction with the dissolved water content. Namely, an alarm is actuated, when the electromotive force of the ion sensor 16 reaches or exceeds the predetermined value.
