Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics and efficiency of a linear motor without increasing the size of the motor, by arranging a plurality of permanent magnets around the motor by uniting the magnets by utilizing the recessed and projecting fitting sections of the magnets. SOLUTION: Each of the arcuate permanent magnets 12 constituting the mover 13 of a linear motor has recessed and projecting fitting sections 12a and 12b, and the magnets 12 are united in one cylindrical body by fitting the projecting fitting sections 12b in the recessed fitting sections 12a. Since a perfect cylindrical shape is formed only of the magnets 12 without using any hole, the magnets 12 can be used effectively to the utmost and the number of the magnets 12 required for obtaining necessary motor characteristics and efficiency can be minimized and, accordingly, the size of the motor 13 can be reduced. Therefore, the characteristics and and efficiency of the motor can be improved without increasing the size of the motor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sliding loss, and to enhance efficiency by using a combustible refrigerant and a natural refrigerant without filling a lubricating oil. SOLUTION: In a piston 8, there is no lateral pressure load acting in the right-angled direction to the shaft direction, and in a sliding part of the piston 8, a cylinder 5 and a bearing 6, the lateral pressure load becomes an unacting shaft directional reciprocating slide. In the sliding part of the piston 8, the cylinder 5 and the bearing 6, even if there is no lubricating ail, radial directional slight clearance is secured, so that operation is performed without causing abrasion and wrench. In a cooling system, since the lubricating oil is not used, heat exchange efficiency in the cooling system is improved, so that efficiency of the whole cooling system is improved. Even if a natural refrigerant and a combustible refrigerant of propane, isobutane and carbon dioxide are used as a refrigerant, since the lubricating oil is not used, the refrigerant is not dissolved in the lubricating oil.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a motor by increasing the space factor of a coil and reducing a current applied to the motor, in a linear motor. SOLUTION: This linear motor is composed of a coil 1, where a ring shape is formed by a plurality of number of windings in the circumferencial direction, and divided outer yokes 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d provided with insertion trenches 3a, 3a into which the coil 1 can be inserted on the inner peripheral side. An outer yoke 2 is installed which is formed into a cylindrical shape by combining a plurality of the divided outer yokes 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, while the coil 1 is inserted in the insertion trenches 3a, 3a. Thereby an applied current to the motor can be reduced, and efficiency of the motor can be improved.

SOLUTION: This oscillation type compressor is composed of a top dead center position computation means 20 which computes the top dead center position based on a signal from a displacement sensor 19 which senses a position near the top dead center of a piston, a current and voltage sensing means 21 which senses voltage or current of a motor 3, and a power source supplying means 22 which varies voltage to be supplied to the motor 3 according to an outputs of the top dead center position computation means 20 and current and voltage sensing means 21. It is thus possible to reduce weight of movable elements, increase resonance frequency, and improve refrigerating capacity.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of reliability such as decreasing of efficiency in a compressor and wearing in a slide part, by preventing an increase of side pressure between a piston and a cylinder even when a position of the piston is in the vicinity of the top/bottom dead centers, in a vibrating compressor used in a refrigerating cycle or the like. SOLUTION: In this vibrating compressor, a support mechanism 13 is provided, with a movable element 11 supporting in a radial direction, when a position of a piston 5 is in the vicinity of the top/bottom dead centers, so that deterioration of reliability such as decreasing of efficiency in the compressor and wearing in a slide part of the piston 5 and a cylinder 4 can be prevented by preventing the slide parts of the piston 5 and the cylinder 4 from receiving a local side pressure.

Additionally, it is possible to freely vary capacity of the compressor and to provide extensive capacity (performance).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reliability from lowering, i.e., the fatigue or rupture of an elastic body from occurring by preventing an excessive stress from acting on it locally due to misalignment or inclination of it even if a piston and a cylinder are machined and assembled with misalignment or inclination provided in a vibrating compressor used in a refrigerant cycle. SOLUTION: A vibrating compressor comprises an elastic body 18 (a to i) a part of which is fixed to a movable element and a part of which is fixed to a fixed element. Also the elastic body 18 is arranged on the sides of a regular polygon where the center axis of a piston 5 is aligned with the gravity center of it so as to prevent an excessive stress from acting locally on it due to misalignment or inclination of it. Thus the lowering of a reliability, i.e., the fatigue or rupture of the elastic body 18 can be prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive movement of the top dead center of a piston in case of the pressure condition of a compressor being changed in the oscillating compressor used for a refrigerating cycle or the like. SOLUTION: A low pressure side back pressure chamber 13 and a high pressure side back pressure chamber 14 are provided on the anti-compression- chamber 10 side of a piston 5 and communicated with a system low pressure part 12a and a system high pressure part 11a respectively by a low pressure side communicating passage 16 and a high pressure side communicating passage 17. The top dead center position change of the piston 5 caused by the change of operating pressure is thereby prevented so as to prevent the damage and noise of the piston 5 and a cylinder head 7 caused by the collision of the piston 5 against the cylinder head 7, and lowering of refrigerating capacity and efficiency caused by the increase of reexpansion displacement in the compression chamber.
