Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a danger of igniting a combustible refrigerant which may occur when defrosting is carried out under an environment with the leakage thereof at a refrigerator using the combustible refrigerant. SOLUTION: In a refrigerating cycle with a cooler 36 of a refrigerator compartment and a cooler 38 of a freezer compartment using the combustible refrigerant, a defrosting means 18 for the cooler 38 of the freezer compartment is provided and the temperature of the defrosting means 18 is set less than that causing the ignition of the combustible refrigerant thereby reducing the danger of igniting the combustible refrigerant.

SOLUTION: This refrigerator is equipped with a compressor 9, a refrigeration cycle of evaporator 10 using a combustible refrigerant, a defrosting means 18 for defrosting the evaporator 10, and an inverter means 22 for varying the capacity of the said compressor 19, and this operates the defrosting means 18 by the inverter means 22, so this refrigerator can reduce the danger caused by the ignition of the combustible refrigerant because the temperature of the defrosting means 18 is under the ignition temperature of the combustible refrigerant.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator using an ignitable refrigerating in which explosion is prohibited when a defrosting operation is carried out under an environment where ignitable refrigerant is leaked out of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: There is provided a cooling chamber 19 having an evaporator 10 of a freezing cycle where an ignitable refrigerant is applied and having a defrosting means 18 for defrosting the evaporator 10. Since the defrosting means 18 is mounted near the lower-most pipe 20 of the evaporator 10, defrosting operation caused by a thermo-siphon of the ignitable refrigerant can be promoted, disaster of explosion caused by ignition of the ignitable refrigerant can be prevented and then the non-refrigerated state caused by residual frost can be prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the heat radiation efficiency of a condenser, by equipping it with a cooling duct where either space above or below a condenser is widened on the suction side of the condenser and the opposite space from the suction side is widened on the discharge side of the condenser and besides where both spaces above and below it are wide in the middle. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is composed of a condenser 5, a cooling fan 3 for cooling the condenser 5, and a cooling duct 7 where either space above or below the condenser 5 is widened on the suction side of the condenser 5 and the opposite space from the suction side is widened on the discharge side of the condenser 5 and besides where both spaces above and below it are wide in the middle. Then, in the section where the space between such condenser 5 and the cooling duct 7 is wide, a cooling wind, which was flowing in the condenser 5 up to now, is let flow to a new space, and a cooling wind, which was flowing in the space up to now, is let flow to the condenser 5. Hereby, the temperature difference between the condenser 5 and the cooling wind can be enlarged, and the heat radiation efficiency of the condenser 5 can be raised.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of the efficiency of a refrigerator and to remove dust adhered to a condenser completely by passing cooling air in the direction on the side of condenser efficiently by providing with fins protruding in the direction of the condenser inside an evaporation pan and crossing the direction of the cooling air-flow from a cooling fan. SOLUTION: Fins 9 are arranged protruding in the direction of the condenser inside the evaporation pan. The outer air is taken inside a machine room driven by the cooling fan from an intake hole, cools the condenser and a compressor, and is discharged from exhaust hole. When the cooling air passes through the evaporator, the cooling, air tends to pass through the inside of the evaporation pan 6 with less pressure loss. The cooling air collides fins 9 erected inside the evaporation pan 6 towards the condenser, is pushed back towards the condenser and cools the condenser. Therefore, the cooling air passes through the condenser becomes more than that in the case without the fins 9 and the condenser can be cooled efficiently. Therefore, the cooling air is prevented from passing on the side of the evaporating pan 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive movement of the top dead center of a piston in case of the pressure condition of a compressor being changed in the oscillating compressor used for a refrigerating cycle or the like. SOLUTION: A low pressure side back pressure chamber 13 and a high pressure side back pressure chamber 14 are provided on the anti-compression- chamber 10 side of a piston 5 and communicated with a system low pressure part 12a and a system high pressure part 11a respectively by a low pressure side communicating passage 16 and a high pressure side communicating passage 17. The top dead center position change of the piston 5 caused by the change of operating pressure is thereby prevented so as to prevent the damage and noise of the piston 5 and a cylinder head 7 caused by the collision of the piston 5 against the cylinder head 7, and lowering of refrigerating capacity and efficiency caused by the increase of reexpansion displacement in the compression chamber.
