Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide art air conditioner capable of adjusting a freezer oil level in a compressor without extremely reducing the level even with operation of two compressors as a matter of course, and with one compressor operation or one compressor interruption. SOLUTION: For first and second compressors 1, 2, closed containers are connected with each other through communication pipes 11a, 11b at a predetermined height between an oiling limit surface and a maximum oil surface of each compressor, and there is provided a refrigerant flow rate controller 15 for controlling openings of a flow rate control valve 14 and the flow rate control valve 14 on a suction side piping 12b of the second compressor 2. Hereby, the freezer oil level in the compressor is adjusted without exeremely reducing the level.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To return freezer oil which is always stable to a compressor by a method wherein two capability variable compressors connected in parallel to each other, an outdoor device provided with one accumulator and indoor devices connected in parallel to each other are provided, and each of compressor suction pipes is connected to each of two outlet pipes of the accumulator, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a cooling is carried out only with an indoor device 15A, only a variable speed compressor 2 is operated. Refrigerant is separated from a freezer oil by an oil separator 4. Refrigerant and a partial freezer oil are circulated in a freezing cycle and returned to the compressor 2 together with gas refrigerant. The freezer oil separated from refrigerant at an oil separator 4 is mixed with refrigerant at an outlet pipe 23 of the accumulator 21 from an oil returning pipe 13 and returns to the compressor. In addition, as the indoor devices 15B and 15C are operated, a variable compressor 3 is energized. Refrigerants from both compressors are separated from the freezer oil at the oil separators 4, 5. The freezer oil not separated circulates once in the freezing cycle, is stored at a bottom part of the accumulator 21 and then it returns to both compressors with a resolving ratio between the freezer oil and refrigerant being kept at the same state.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the comfortableness of the air conditioner by disposing a suction port, a blower, a heat exchanger and a discharge port in a main body cabinet, and providing an air flow direction variable lower and an auxiliary discharge port discharging air along a ceiling plate, in the air conditioner of a type fitted on the ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A blower 2, a heat exchanger 4, a suction port 3, a discharge port 6 having an air flow direction variable louver 8, and an auxiliary discharge port 7, are disposed in a main body cabinet 1 embedded in the ceiling. In this construction, at the time of space heating, indoor air sucked up through the suction port 3 is heated by the heat exchanger and is discharged through the discharge port 6. When the discharge temperature exceeds the set temperature, the louver 8 is directed downward as shown by dotted lines and sucks up air staying in the vicinity of the ceiling through the auxiliary discharge port 7 to reduce the difference in the temperature between the upper and lower chambers. At the time of space cooling, the louver 8 is set at a position indicated by solid lines, and a cool air flow is discharged through the auxiliary discharge port 7 along the ceiling. By this construction, the comfortableness can be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an indoor unit capable of selecting an arbitrary direction of discharge and being adapted to any residential space by providing a plurality of air flow direction deflecting dampers freely rotatable, between a front blow- off port and a heat exchanger, in non-parallel to the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal air flow direction deflecting dampers 31 and 31 assume an arbitrary angle theta, whereby an air flow produced by a centrifugal type blower 17 passes through a heat exchanger 20, and thereafter a part of the flow is deflected along the dampers from a position where the air flow pressure is high to a position where the air flow pressure is low without coming into collision perpendicularly with the horizontal air flow deflecting dampers 31 and 32, thus the air flow being blown off through blow-off ports 25 and 26 as indicated by solid line arrows. With regard to the case of blow-off in one direction on the front surface, when the angle theta of the horizontal air direction deflecting dampers 31 and 32 is set to 0 deg., an air flow blown off from a centrifugal blower 17 passes through a heat exchanger 20 and does not come into collision with horizontal air flow direction deflecting dampers 31 and 32, but the whole air flow is blown off, as indicated by dotted line arrows, to one direction on the front surface 1.
