Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten the working time significantly by molding a door gasket integrally using flexible foamable polyurethane and a plastic magnet. CONSTITUTION: The plastic magnet 6 of a die is set before a door gasket 5 is molded integrally of flexible foamable polyurethane. The plastic magnet 6 us provided with a step in the die and floated partially to keep a clearance of dimension (a) (about 0.5-2.0 mm) from the upper surface of the gasket depending on the balance between the magnetizing force of the magnet 6 and the thickness of the gasket 5. Since the gasket 5 is molded integrally by foaming flexible foamable polyurethane inserted with the magnet 6, many works including push cutting of a holder, cutting and corner welding can be eliminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a vegetable case for refrigerator in which vegetables can be preserved for a long term by applying a cover of nonwoven fabric tightly to the upper surface opening of the case thereby removing dew adhering to the cover. CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven fabric 17 made by hot pressing long polyethylene fibers comprises a long polyethylene fiber layer 18 in the center and a polyethylene film layer 19 having fine pores made on the surface through melting of a part of the layer 18. Since chill does not intrudes directly into a vegetable case 14, high temperature is kept in the case 14 by moisture evaporated from vegetables 13 stored therein. When the humidity exceeds a required level, moisture permeates gradually to the low humidity cold storage room side 12 through the fabric 17 and leaf vegetables, e.g. spinach, can be stored in fresh state for a long term.
