    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a foamed heat-insulating material excellent in uniformness of foam, environmental protection, heat-insulating property, etc., and useful for refrigerators, freezing chambers, etc., by mixing and stirring an organic polyisocyanate with a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, a specific polyol and a specific foaming agent and foaming and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:This foamed heat-insulating material is obtained by mixing and stirring (A) an organic polyisocyanate such as diphenylmethane diisocyanate with (B) a polyol component containing 5-30% OH component having a molecular structure of the formula [(n)>=2] (e.g. diethylene glycol), (C) a foam stabilizer, (D) a catalyst and (E) a foaming agent containing 1,1,1,2,3,3-hexafluoropropane and foaming and molding the mixture.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal insulation foam with excellent physical without affecting the global environment by mixing an org. polyisocyanate, a foam stabilizer, water, a polyether polyol, a specific blowing agent, and a specific catalyst component and allowing the resulting mixture to foam. CONSTITUTION:A thermal insulation foam is obtd. by mixing an org. polyisocyanate (e.g. a polymeric MDI), a foam stabilizer (e.g. F-335, a product of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), water, a polyether polyol (e.g. a mixture of an arom.-amine-initiated polyether polyol and an ethylenediamine-initiated polyether polyol), cyclopentane as the blowing agent, and a catalyst component comprising 50wt.% or lower tert-amine resin compsn. and 50wt.% or higher acid-blocked catalyst formed by partially or totally neutralizing the tert-amine resin compsn. with a carboxylic acid (e.g. Kaolizer No.31, a product of Kao Carp.), and then by allowing the resulting mixture to foam.

CONSTITUTION:A thermal insulation foam is obtd. by mixing an org. polyisocyanate (e.g. a polymeric MDI), a foam stabilizer (e.g. F-335, a product of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), a catalyst (e.g. Kaolizer No. 1, a product of Kao Corp.), water, a polyether polyol (e.g. a mixture of an arom.-amine-based polyether polyol and an ethylenediamine-based polyether polyol), and a blowing agent comprising 70-60wt.% cyclopentane and 30-40wt.% at least one hydrocarbon selected from the group consisting of n-pentane, 2-methylbutane, and 2,2- dimethylpropane, and then by the resulting mixture to foam.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title material which does not suffer from a dispersion of density due to, e.g. the separation of a blowing agent, and has a quality equivalent to that of a heat-insulation material prepared by using a conventional halohydrocarbon as the blowing agent even when an aliphatic or cyclic hydrocarbon poorly compatible with a polyol as the raw material of a urethane resin is used as the blowing agent and contributes to the solution of the environmental problem of ozonosphere depletion. CONSTITUTION:The title material is prepared by mixing under agitation polyol component containing at least 5% polyether polyol, obtained by the addition polymerization of a diol or a triol with an alkylene oxide, with an organic polyisocyanate, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst and a blowing agent consisting of at least an aliphatic or cyclic hydrocarbon of a boiling point of 80 deg.C or below, and the heat-insulation box is prepared by packing the heat-insulation material into the space between the inner and outer boxes by in-situ foaming.

CONSTITUTION:A space of a heat insulating structure 1, in which a metallic pipe 5 is arranged, is filled with a foamed heat insulating material produced by a method wherein a polyol constituent, containing at least 50% or more of benzilic ether type phenol resin, organic polyisocyanate, foam stabilizer, catalyst and a foaming agent having at least one constituent of hydrocarbon are mixed and foamed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide desired gas barrier quality by vacuum forming a plastic film manufactured through a duplicate extrusion method to manufacture a vessel for covering a core material for use as a vacuum insulation pack having a cover material of a plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A multilayer film 3 formed via a duplicate extrusion method is vacuum formed to prepare a vessel 4. Also, a barrier material 8 made of a plastic-metal foil laminate film 7 and an adsorbing agent 9 are stacked and laid between a core material of hard urethane foam and the vessel 4. Then, a cover material 6 is formed out of a plastic-metal foil laminate film 5 and the vessel 4 is closed therewith. The multilayer film 3 has an outermost layer of a chemical resistant film, an intermediate layer of a gas barrier film and an innermost layer of a chemical resistant film. Furthermore, the innermost and outermost layers of the films 5 and 7 are also made of a chemical resistant film, and the intermediate layer thereof is made of aluminum foil or the like.

CONSTITUTION:A face material 6 such as a paper or nonwoven fabric having a silicon oil on the surface is put in a jig 5, a mixed raw material consisting of an organic polycyanate, a polyol, a catalyst, a foam making agent, a foaming agent, and a cell continuing agent is injected followed by foaming to provide a hard urethane foam block 4. A hard urethane foam panel obtained by cutting the hard urethane foam block 4 to an optional size is used as a core material, which is then covered with a vessel consisting of a metal-plastic laminate film, and the internal part is evacuated and sealed to manufacture a heat insulator.
