SOLUTION: After mounting the balancer device 6 fixed at a prescribed position with a tool, an oil pan 2 is mounted, each sprocket 4, 7, 8, 9, 70 are tightened temporarily, a timing chain 10 and a balancer chain 5 are wound, a timing chain tensioner 13 and a balancer chain tensioner 11 are mounted in a lock state, a crankshaft 3 and a cam shaft are fixed at a prescribed position, the balancer sprocket 70 is fully tightened, the lock of each chain tensioner 11, 13 is released, the cam sprocket 8, 9 are fully tightened, the tool is removed by pulling a pin 75, a chain cover is attached, a damper pulley is attached, and the crank sprocket 4, 7 are fully tightened.

SOLUTION: The balancer 6 is bolted at the skirt lower portion of a cylinder block 1 and an oil pump 20 is disposed on its side to drive a balancer shaft 7 and the oil pump 20 through a chain 5. An oil filter is disposed sideways on the rear part of the cylinder block. A pipe 27 is disposed to supply the oil immediately after passing the oil filter in an oil passage led to an oil gallery in the cylinder block via the oil filter from the oil pump 20, to the oil passage of a rear journal part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To dispense with a conventional shutter valve in an engine supercharger provided with two pairs turbo chargers by making control of throttle valves disposed respectively on a primary and a secondary intake passage different in an operating region where only the supercharger on the primary side is driven in an operating region where both supercharger are driven. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary engine provided with primary and secondary turbochargers 4, 6 throttle valves 16a, 16b are disposed on the way of two intake passages 9a, 9b bisected downstream of an air cleaner of an intake passage 9, respectively, and are connected to an electrically-driven actuator 60 via link rods LRa, LRb, respectively. An ECU 46 determines whether or not present operating condition is in a region to drive the supercharger 4, 6. If the result affirmative, the electrically driven actuator 60 is lockingly operated so that the link positions LRa, LRb are connected to each other, for mutual connection of the throttle valves 16a, 16b. Thereafter, each degree of the throttle valves 16a 16b is controlled in a connected state. Meanwhile, if the result is negative, the connected state is released, and the operating degree of only the throttle valve 16a is controlled.

The turbosupercharger 10 is previously put into prerevolution by a leak valve 13 before operation. In this case, a prerevolution prohibiting means 35 for prohibiting the prerevolution when the prerevolution time of the supercharger 10 is over a prescribed time is installed. Accordingly, when the prerevolution is carried out for a prescribed time or more, the bad influence such as the breakage of the secondary side turbosupercharger can be suppressed, since the prerevolution is suppressed.
