    Abstract: Aspects directed towards wake-up signal (WUS) scrambling sequence design are disclosed. In one example, a time-based scrambling sequence that facilitates a phase shift in time may be generated according to a time parameter associated with a WUS or a paging occasion (PO). A scrambled WUS may be generated by multiplying a WUS base sequence by the time-based scrambling sequence, and subsequently transmitted to at least one scheduled entity. In another example, a scrambled WUS may be received from a scheduling entity. A time-based scrambling sequence associated with the WUS may be identified in which the time-based scrambling sequence facilitates a phase shift in time and corresponds to a time parameter associated with a WUS or a PO. The WUS may be descrambled according to the time-based scrambling sequence. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

    Abstract: Aspects directed towards sounding reference signal (SRS) antenna switching are disclosed. In one example, an SRS configuration is received from a network in which at least four antennas of a scheduled entity are configured based on the SRS configuration. The SRS configuration configures at least one antenna to simultaneously support SRS antenna switching and an uplink (UL) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication. An SRS communication is then transmitted according to the SRS configuration. In another example, a transmission capability reporting is received from a scheduled entity comprising at least four antennas. A determination is made of whether the scheduled entity may simultaneously support SRS antenna switching and an UL MIMO communication. An SRS configuration is then generated for the scheduled entity based on the determination in which a default SRS configuration configures at least one antenna to simultaneously support the SRS antenna switching and the UL MIMO communication.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first synchronization signal for synchronizing with a cell, the first synchronization signal transmitted at a first periodicity by a base station serving the cell. The UE may then receive, subsequent to the synchronizing, a second synchronization signal for resynchronizing with the cell. In some cases, the second synchronization signal may be transmitted by the base station according to a second periodicity that is different from the first periodicity. In some cases, the second synchronization signal may include a plurality of repetitions of a first sequence that is based at least in part on a cell identifier of the cell. The UE may communicate over the cell with the base station based at least in part on the resynchronizing.

A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive a configuration of a page monitoring periodicity, and a configuration of a wake-up signal from a network node, such as a base station. The UE may then monitor for paging messages to receive paging information, or updates to system information, during a page monitoring period according to the page monitoring periodicity, the wake-up signal periodicity, the received wake-up signal, or a combination thereof.
