Abstract: The aim of the invention is to provide a location-dependent execution of services of a mobile radio network for a mobile subscriber (TNR) who is checked into the network, e.g. location-dependent charging or routing/area-specific tasks. To this end, the service profile assigned to the subscriber is routinely updated when the subscriber changes location. Said service profile is updated with regard to the services which have already begun and which are used by the subscriber (TNR). The location information with regard to the actual location (A, B, C) of mobile subscribers is obtained from a positioning system (SAT) on the side of the mobile radio network, and is linked to a service plan which describes the location-dependency of the services. From this, actual service profiles are derived for the relevant subscribers. A message regarding the actual subscriber-specific service offer can be derived from the actual service profile of the subscriber (TNR), can be sent to the subscriber, and can be displayed on the side of the subscriber terminal.

Abstract: In a mobile radio system based on the GSM standard, non-standardised subscriber services can be used by the subscribers along with the standardised subscriber services while maintaining the signalling protocol prescribed in the GSM mobile radio system. To provide the non-standardised subscriber services, an individual additional service code which differs from the GSM service codes is used for each of these services. The data are transmitted in the standardised data fields provided for the use of a GSM subscriber service. Each individual additional service code for identifying a non-standardised subscriber service can be combined with the data fields of any given GSM subscriber service, since there is no fixed correlation between the used additional service code and the data fields, which is the case in the use of the GSM subscriber services.
