Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to provide a location-dependent execution of services of a mobile radio network for a mobile subscriber (TNR) who is checked into the network, e.g. location-dependent charging or routing/area-specific tasks. To this end, the service profile assigned to the subscriber is routinely updated when the subscriber changes location. Said service profile is updated with regard to the services which have already begun and which are used by the subscriber (TNR). The location information with regard to the actual location (A, B, C) of mobile subscribers is obtained from a positioning system (SAT) on the side of the mobile radio network, and is linked to a service plan which describes the location-dependency of the services. From this, actual service profiles are derived for the relevant subscribers. A message regarding the actual subscriber-specific service offer can be derived from the actual service profile of the subscriber (TNR), can be sent to the subscriber, and can be displayed on the side of the subscriber terminal.
Abstract:
According to the inventive method for the administration of supplementary services (SS), a subscriber self-input (SCI) is initiated in a communications terminal (MS ) by the subscriber for the supplementary service concerned. Said subscriber self-input (SCI) causes at least one structured container message (USSD-M) to be produced by the communications terminal (MS). Said container message is then sent to a memory unit (HLR) of the communications network (KN). Once it has been received by the memory unit (HLR) the container message (USSD-M) is transmitted further via an interface (SH-IF) which links the memory unit (HLR) to the service control point (SCP). The interface implemented between the memory unit and the service control point enables the container message to reach the service control unit by means of the subscriber self-input (SCI) for the additional service, for service administration.
Abstract:
Controlling setting-up a connection in a mobile communication system includes storing, in at least one subscriber database, subscriber-oriented data for a subscriber registered in a home mobile radio network, entering the subscriber-oriented data in a subscriber database when the subscriber moves, and setting-up a connection for the subscriber with a mobile station using a mobile switching center coupled to the subscriber database.
Abstract:
A particularly efficient and cost-effective ability to provide multi-tonal sequences for use as connection-status signaling sequences is described by a method and device for providing multi-tonal sequences for use as connection-status signaling sequences in a communications network. At least one multi-tonal sequence for use as a connection-status signaling sequence is selected for at least one call number, and when at least one call number is called, at least one selected multi-tonal sequence is used as a connection-status signaling sequence.
Abstract:
The method involves an interface checking if a request from an external point for an internal function contains a request for a function of another network and if so exchanging a second request re the function of the target network between the interfaces based on a service agreement between the interface device and a secure service interface device of the target network. The method involves accessing network-internal functions of telecommunications networks from an external point (SE) via a secured service interface (S2) of a network (N2) based on a valid service agreement in favor of the external point. The interface checks whether a request from the external point re an internal function contains a request to use a function of another network (N1) and if so exchanges a second request re the function of the target network between the interfaces based on a service agreement between the interface device and a secure service interface device (S1) of the target network. An Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a network device of a telecommunications network for implementing the inventive method.
Abstract:
According to the invention, a subscriber call number profile (R-CSI) with call numbers (No1, No2) generally valid for all registered mobile subscribers is additionally stored in the subscriber data base (HLR) of a home mobile radio network (HPLMN) and co-transmitted in the location update for storage in the corresponding subscriber database (VLR) when the relevant subscriber roams to a visitor mobile radio network (VPLMN). Additionally, when an outgoing connection from a communication terminal is initiated by a target call number (CldPA) dialed by the mobile subscriber in the visitor mobile radio network (VPLMN, the switching center (MSC) compares the call numbers (No1, No2) in the call number profile (R-CSI) with the target call number (CldPA) and establishes a connection to a service control point (SCP) in case of a match, which then converts the co-transmitted target call number (CldPA) into a new target call number (CldPA*) and sends it to the switching center (MSC) for further connection setup.
Abstract:
