    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce loss and to improve high-speed follow-up feature, by controlling the output pulse width with the detection signal of voltage obtained at the output electrode of the first switching element, and by controlling the second switching element with the output pulse. CONSTITUTION:A diode 3 for damper and a capacitor 4 for resonance are connected in parallel to a transistor 1, to which a series circuit is connected in parallel which is made up of a capacitor 5, a choke coil 6 and a diode 7. Furthermore, a power source 9 is connected through the primary coil 8a of a flyback transformer 8. A transistor 13 is switched ON through a PWM circuit 12 at the secondary side output of the transformer 8. At this moment, by exchanging the position of the coil 6 for the capacitor 5, the series system of a diode 15 and a resistance 16 is connected between their contact d and an earth. Thus, the ringing voltage set up when the diode is OFF appears at the contact d of the coil 6 and capacitor 5, so that the current can flow to the diode 15 and the resistance 16.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the set luminance, by comparing the voltage varying in response to the beam current of a CRT with the mean level voltage of the video signal supplied to the CRT. CONSTITUTION:The beam current detecting voltage Vb obtained at the joint B between a beam current detecting resistance 15 and an FBT12 is supplied to the input at one side of a comparing part 18. While the mean level voltage Va of a video signal obtained at a joint A is supplied to the other input of the part 18 via a voltage converting part 21. The voltage Vb is compared with the voltage Va at the part 18, and this comparison output SC is supplied to the base of a transistor TR22. The TR22 forms a bias voltage part to the 1st grating electrode 6 of a CRT1, and the bias voltage Vg is supplied to the electrode 6. The voltage Vg is varied in response to the output SC. Therefore the CRT-electrode 6 bias voltage is changed in response to the output SC between a cathode 2 of the CRT1 and the electrode 6.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a correcting circuit for a left and right pincushion distortion which prevents the generation of nonlinear distortion by detecting a parabolic voltage generated in a horizontal period at the connection point between the controlled coil of a saturable reactor and a capacitor for S-shaped correction. CONSTITUTION:A parabolic voltage generated in a horizontal period at the connection point between the controlled coil 3b of a saturable reactor 2 and a capacitor 5 is detected by a detecting circuit 8 to obtain an envelope voltage. This envelope voltage is supplied to a control circuit 6 to make a level comparison with a parabolic voltage in a vertical period applied from a terminal 9 to the control circuit 6. The result of the level comparion is supplied to the control coil 3a of the saturable reactor 2, whose characteristics are controlled to prevent the generation of nonlinear distortion.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the accurate waveform of a correction signal through simple constitution by measuring the level, etc., of the correction signal with a signal from a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal and a vertical deflection signal from a deflecting circuit 1 are supplied to the deflection coil 3 of a picture tube 2. Then, part of the vertical deflection signal is supplied to a parabolic wave generating circuit 4, a parabolic wave signal Sa from which is supplied to a deflection coil 5 for correction. This parabolic wave signal Sa is supplied to a two-phenomenon oscilloscope 6. Further, a detection signal Sb from a photodetector 7 is supplied to the oscilloscope 6 through an attenuator 8. So as a point where the photodetector 7 is in contact is an accurate landing state, the parabolic wave generating circuit 4 is adjusted and the level B at the intersection of the rising signal Sb and signal Sa is read to measure the necessary amount of correction at the point. Further, the distance l from the beginning of the parabolic signal Sa to the rising point of the signal Sb is measured to obtain the accurate position of a measurement point on the deflection signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the mislanding by carrying out the magnetic erasion only when the color TV picture receiver installed inside the mobile object is turned to the specified direction. CONSTITUTION:The detection voltage VEW of lateral magnetic field detector circuit 1 features the waveform of the sine wave which features the positive and negative peaks when the color TV picture receiver turns to the east and west respectively. While detection voltage VNS of axial direction magnetic field detector circuit 2 features the waveform of the sine wave featuring the positive and negative peaks in the south and north directions each. Then VEW and VNS are applied to direction deciding circuit 3 to detect the turning to the east, and at this moment the magnetic erasion is performed via magnetic erasion circuit 4.
