Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed reading by bonding via an adhesive layer a reinforcing member of a material of higher rigidity than a material of a bobbin to a lower face and/or an upper face in a focusing direction of the bobbin, and increasing a secondary resonant frequency of an actuator while restricting a thickness increase to a minimum. SOLUTION: A bobbin 22 of synthetic resin holds an objective lens 7 at the center, with having a focusing coil 2b wound at an outer circumferential side face, thus forming a main body of a movable part 2. The bobbin 22 is fixed to a free end of an elastic member which has one end fixed to a fixed part 3 and is constituted of a parallel spring or the like. The bobbin 22 is accordingly supported to be movable in a focusing direction subsequent to a bend of the elastic member. A reinforcing plate 2a of aluminum alloy or the like is bonded to a lower face of the bobbin 22 in the focusing direction via an adhesive layer 2e which is formed by applying thick a highly viscous adhesive to an elastic body such as rubber or the like.

A slide operation mechanism receives a friction force based on dynamic friction coefficient because it always moves reciprocally according to the amount of eccentricity between the motor center MC and chucking center CC during execution of the tracking servo.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the biaxial actuator of optical pickup having good assembly workability and is improved in control performance to enable a cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin 1 having an objective lens 2 and a printed coil 3 is supplied with electricity from a junction substrate 6 via four pieces of metallic leaf spring 4, by which the driving of the biaxial directions, focusing direction and tracking direction of the information tracks of the optical disk, is executed. The leaf springs 4 are temporarily and temporally fixed simply by fitting the springs into grooves 9a, 9b, etc., of the biaxial holder 9 of the junction substrate 6 and, therefore, the efficiency of the joining from above the leaf springs 4 temporally fixed into the grooves 9a, 9b, etc., is possible. Since this UV curing type gel has a high flow property before irradiation with UV rays, the easy pouring of the gel into the grooves 9a, b is possible. The gel is cured by the subsequent irradiation with UV rays to act as a damper material capable of fixing the leaf springs 4 with good accuracy. The vibration clamping property is thus improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of static friction and to prevent the generation of a dead zone as a hinge member serves as a fulcrum at the time of turning of an arm by connecting the hub part of an arm and a fixing member by the hinge member. CONSTITUTION:One end of a suspension 8 is fixed to a mounting region 6 of the rigid arm 2 of a rotary actuator assembly 1. A slider 12 including a magnetic head is mounted via a flexer 10 to the other end of the suspension 8. A cylindrical hinge type arm holding member 18 is fixed to a base by a lock bolt 16A on the inner side of the hub part 4 of the arm 2. A holder 18 is so positioned that its center aligns to the central axis in the longitudinal direction of the assembly 1. The hub part 4 of the arm 2 and the holder 18 are connected by thin flat planar hinge members 20, 22. The end is fixed to the hub part 4 and the holder 18 in such a manner that the members 20, 22 exist in symmetrical positions by aligning these members to the central axis in the longitudinal direction of the assembly 1. Since the fulcrum for turning of the arm 2 is the hinge members 20, 22, the static friction does not arise and the dead zone does not exist either.
