Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional optical disk device, a printing head may interfere with a label face or label sheet of an optical disk during printing when the optical disk is thick, thereby damaging the printing head. SOLUTION: An optical disk device 1 is provided with: a disk drive device 9 having a disk-mounting part 20 which rotates an optical disk 2; and an optical pickup 23 which records and reproduces information signals to and from the optical disk 2; and a printing device 10 having a printing head 31 which jets ink to the printing face of the optical disk 2 to perform printing. The printing device 10 is provided with; a head-moving mechanism which moves the printing head 31 between a printing position and a retreat position; distance detection sensors 51, 52 which detect the distance between the optical disk 2 and the printing face and output the detection signals; and a distance-adjusting part which moves the printing head close to or away from the printing face, to adjust the distance. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive unit and a disk print method which can always obtain an absolute location of a disk-like recording medium even if ejection and insertion of a disk form recording medium are repeated, and can perform additional print on a label face without preparing a marking for positioning etc. on the label face. SOLUTION: The disk drive unit 1 is equipped with; a spindle motor 2 which rotates an optical disk 101; an optical pickup 3; a print head 4; an encoder 5 which generates a pulse signal according to rotation of the spindle motor 2; a signal processing part 6 which generates a specific address signal which pulsates when a specific address of the optical disk 101 is reproduced by the optical pickup 3; and a control part 7. The control part 7 obtains positional information of the optical disk 101 from the pulse signal by performing disk association processing to associate a disk reference position on which a specific address of the optical disk 101 is recorded and a pulse signal based on the pulse signal and the specific address signal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate printing around the inner periphery of an information recording medium such as a disk, to perform high-speed printing, and to facilitate apparatus maintenance in an information recording apparatus recording/reading digital data and printing a label. SOLUTION: The information recording apparatus 100 into which an information recording medium 5 is loaded, and in which the label is printed on the label surface of the loaded information recording medium 5 is disclosed. The apparatus includes: an information recording means 140 located on the recording surface side of the information recording medium 5; a print head 150 located on the opposite side of the information recording means 140 and the information recording medium 5 and performs printing of the label; and a print head moving means for moving the print head at a position shifted from the rotational center of the information recording medium in parallel with the radial direction of at least in the part of the information recording medium. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of preventing the damaging of an objective lens or a disk caused by the defect of the disk, and its control method. SOLUTION: When gap servo is executed in the area of a recording surface on which gap servo is to be started by a gap servo control system 35, if a defect is detected in the area by a camera 33, control is executed not to execute gap servo. Thus, the occurrence of damaging caused by the collision of an objective lens 26 with a disk D is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of sufficiently performing a printing on the label surface of an optical disk medium. SOLUTION: When the printing is performed on the label surface of the optical disk medium D by the priting head 16 of a printing unit 15 while rotating the optical disk medium D, a spindle motor 21 is not used as a motive source for rotating the optical disk medium D, but the motive force transmission system of a submotor 67 having high rotational stability at a low speed is turned ON by a transmission motor 60. Thus, high-quality label printing is carried out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus capable of performing a printing well on the label face of an optical disk media. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a printing head 16 for performing a printing on the label face of the optical disk clamped in a disk driving mechanism. When the supply of a drive current to a spindle motor 21 is cut off according to the stop instruction from a controller and the inertial revolving speed is detected to be not above a predetermined value, the label printing with a printing head 15 is controlled to be started. By specifying the weight of components such as a clamp which becomes a load of revolution of the spindle motor 21 or adding load adjusting member such as a fly wheel 102, the motor can be stably revolved at the speed suitable for the label printing of the optical disk media by the inertial force brought about from those loads after the motor stops. Thereby, the label printing with a good grace can be performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce occurrence of a pseudo outline of a moving picture when digital gradation display is performed. SOLUTION: A driving signal generation circuit 35 generates a driving signal for driving a display part 36 so that light of a split quantity of light corresponding to the bits composing a digital value being a pixel value, is dispersively emitted in a frame time. In this case, when a 1st quantity of light corresponding to prescribed bits and a 2nd quantity of light corresponding to the next lower order bits are both split, the 1st and 2nd light quantities are divided so that the number of splits of the 1st light quantity is less than two times that of the 2nd light quantity.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the generation of moire interference fringes, improve diffusion so as to expand a visual angle and to obtain a plane lens having a high contrast and image quality by constituting this lend of many spherular transparent beads fixed to a colored hot melt adhesive layer on the light incident side surface of a transparent base material. SOLUTION: This plane type lend is composed of the transparent base material 11, the colored hot melt adhesive layer 12 formed on the light incident side surface of the transparent base material 11 and the many spherular transparent beads 13 consisting of one layer fixed to this colored hot melt adhesive layer 12. Such plane type lend 10 is obtd, by coating the surface of the transparent base material 11 with the colored hot melt adhesive layer 12, lowering the temp. to put this layer into a solidified or semisoldified state and dispersing and arranging the spheruler transparent beads 13 thereon. The spherular transparent beads 13 are pressed and embedded by the prescribed depth under a prescribed pressure while the colored hot melt layer 12 is melted or softened by using a press device having a hot pressurizing plate.
