A solid shaped product is fabricated by using a liquid. In a solid shaped-product fabrication method of discharging, to a target, a droplet from a nozzle of a liquid discharge unit for discharging a liquid, and fabricating a solid shaped product, the liquid contains at least water and a colorant that is dissolved or dispersed in the water, the droplet has a specific surface area of 0.2 m 3 /g or more and 0.5 m 3 /g or less on condition that the droplet is approximated by an ideal true sphere on the basis of a volume when the liquid is caused to fly as a single droplet, and the droplet having the specific surface area in such a range is continuously discharged to the target at 1 Hz or higher and 100 Hz or lower.

An electrochemical display unit capable of being simplified in unit construction and reduced in cost with a simple matrix drive implemented. An electrochemical display unit that effects displaying by using electrochemical depositing/melting of a metal. The unit is driven by a simple matrix drive system, and uses as a threshold value in a simple matrix drive a deposition over-voltage at which metal ions deposit as a metal. The drive voltage is up to two times the deposition over-voltage. The electrochemical display unit has a transparent electrode and a counter electrode, and displays images by depositing/melting of a metal on the transparent electrode, the potential difference between a metal deposited on the transparent electrode and the counter electrode being set to be less than a deposition over-voltage. Ideally, the same metal as one deposited on the counter electrode is used.

For example, a semi-spherical system holding mechanism 8 such as to cover the head portion of the user is provided in the upper portion of a user holding mechanism 9 such as chair, sofa, or the like. A display apparatus 7 is fixed in the system holding mechanism 8. In the display apparatus 7, a video image displayed on a display panel 14 is enlarged by a lens 13, so that a virtual image is formed. The virtual images which are observed by the right and left eyes of the user are arranged at the same position in a space.

The invention provides a display control apparatus and a display control method wherein, where digital gradation display is performed, occurrences of a moving picture pseudo contour can be reduced simply. A signal production circuit produces a signal for driving a display section so that light of divisional light amounts obtained by dividing light amounts corresponding to bits which compose digital values which are pixel values may be emitted in a such manner as to be distributed within a time corresponding to one screen. In this instance, where both of a first light amount corresponding to a predetermined bit and a second light amount corresponding to a bit in a lower order by one bit to the bit are divided, the first and second light amounts are divided so that the division number of the first light amount may be smaller than twice the division number of the second light amount.

A glasses type head mounted display apparatus for seeing a virtual image through left and right lens systems provided with corresponding left and right display portions displaying left and right pictures, respectively. The display apparatus includes left and right slide mechanisms for moving the respectively left and right display portions on the main point axes of the lens systems and on segment lines through the central points of the left and right lens systems and focuses of the left and right lens systems so that the user sees through the left and right lens systems a virtual image synthesized with pictures of the left and right display portions.
