Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the movement of a head drum in the axial direction thereof by driving a feeding screw by a motor and making the head drum movably in the axial direction via a supporting means. CONSTITUTION:A head rum 10 is guided movably in the axial direction by a guide rod 24 via the guide sleeve 45 provided at the center part thereof. A feed screw 27 is therefore rotated in the same direction by performing the normal/reverse rotation of a motor 28. The guide block 22 engaged with the feed screw 27 is moved in the upper and lower directions accordingly and when a magnetic tape is wound around the head drum 10, the recording and reproducing of a parallel scanning method can be performed. The guide in the axial direction can be achieved by a single guide 24 only and the feed screw 27 is connected directly to the motor 28 as well, so the controllability becomes better. Also, the feed motor 28 and drum 10 are arranged in parallel and the space factor in height direction is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reproduce a data with small-sized constitution and high accuracy by applying a feedback control to a head position at each section in response to the phase difference of a reproduced phase by a reproducing head whose scanning locus is limited to each section of plural sections being divisions of one track. CONSTITUTION:A PCM reproducing data of each section by rotary heads 15A, 15B is demodulated by a PCM demodulation circuit 25, a reproducing phase signal in a demodulation signal is detected by a reproducing phase detection circuit 26 and a reproduced phase timing pulse is fed to a sample and holding circuit 28 through a pulse shaping circuit 27. Then a ramp signal outputted from a ramp generation circuit 32 is fed to the circuit 28 based on the phase signal by the rotary heads 15A, 15B, and the circuit 28 outputs a phase difference signal to an optimum phase. The pulse motor moving a moving part 12 to a corresponding position of an adjacent section is subject to feedback control by the phase difference signal and the head is located to an optimum position. Thus, highly accurate reproduction is obtained by small-sized constitution in which a rotary drum is small in size.

A user selects the affirmatin switch 6a or the negation switch 6b of a acknowledgment switch 6 in accordance with the display. The MPU 8 executes the process of the pressed operation key, and when the switch 6b is selected, the pressed key is reset and the set mode key of the previous operation key remains.

Then, the protrusion 3 is provided to be abutted against the tape 2 in the vicinity of the retreating part on the circumferential surface of the fixed drum 1a. By this method, the picture quality of a reproducing picture can be prevented from deteriorating due to impact errors.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the reduction effect of an impact error by respectively providing projections which are brought into contact with a tape for a fixed upper drum and a fixed lower drum in at least one around the approach part and the leaving part of the tape. CONSTITUTION:The tape 2 is wound round the outer periphery of the fixed upper drum 5a and the fixed lower drum 5b, and the heads 3a and 3b are brought into contact with the tape 2 so as to attain scanning. Then, the approach part 7a where the tape 2 approaches the drums 5a and 5b when the tape travels along the fixed upper drum 5a and the fixed lower drum 5b and the leaving part 7b from which the tape leaves are provided. The projections 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b which are brought into contact with the tape 2 are respectively provided for the fixed upper drum 5a and the fixed lower drum 5b in at least one around the approach part 7a and the leaving part 7b. Consequently, the tape can securely be supported by the projections 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b, and the vertical vibration of the tape 2 can be suppressed. Thus, the reduction effect of the impact error can be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform rate of air blowing over the entire circumference by forming a rotary drum which has a member to constitute the surface facing to a stationary drum and mounting a head on the side opposite from the surface to face the stationary drum. CONSTITUTION:The rotary drum 11 has the member 11a to constitute the surface facing to the stationary drum (not shown). The stepped upper part 11b and stepped lower part 11c thereof are constituted across a part of the member 11a. The base part of a head base 14 is mounted by using a head mounting screw 12 to the stepped upper part 11b. A through-hole is provided between the front end part and root part of the base 14 and a head height adjusting screw 15 is inserted into this hole. The front end of this screw is screwed to the stepped lower part 11c of the member 11a. The base 14 deflects in a direction (b) and the height thereof can be adjusted when the screw 15 is pushed in an arrow (a) direction. Since the surface of the rotary drum 11 facing the stationary drum is plane, the formation of the spiral grooves 17 over the entire circumference of the rear surface is possible. Since the grooves 17 are formed over the entire circumference of the rear surface in this way, the air blowing uniform over the entire circumference is possible.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the load on a tape traveling system and to easily adjust a tape path by fitting a fixed head directly to a fixed drum. CONSTITUTION:A lead 4a where the lower end part of a tape T slides is formed at a prescribed position on the outer peripheral surface of a fixed drum 4 and a couple of rectangular opening parts 4b and 4c are bored at a prescribed interval in the outer peripheral surface of the fixed drum 4 right above the lead 4a. The couple of opening parts 4b and 4c incorporate a control head 12 for erasure and a control head 13 for recording and reproduction which are so fitted as fixed head as to project from the outer peripheral surface of the fixed drum 4 by about tens of mum. Thus the fixed heads 12 and 13 such as the control heads are incorporated in the fixed drum 4 where a rotary drum 3 is supported rotatably, so the load on the tape travel system is reduced. Consequently, fast tape traveling movement is enabled and the tape path is easily adjusted.

CONSTITUTION:In a recording and reproducing device for recording/reproducing data by means of plural track areas divided in the width direction of a tape 2, a video signal (a) is recorded in one track area and an inserting video signal (b) is recorded in a section between an insert-in signal (c) and an insert-out signal (d) in the other track area. Since an original video signal can be recorded in one track area and an inserting video signal can be recorded in the other track and edited, the retrial of the edition work can be simply executed and the inserting video signal can be inputted to a master tape 2 itself. Consequently, the edition time can be shortened and the generation of signal deterioration due to dubbing can be prevented.
