    Abstract: PURPOSE:To dispense with a device for reading an ID number and to make a cassette completely correspond to an ID number by simultaneously recording the ID number read by a video head in a video signal and an audio signal when the image is recorded. CONSTITUTION:A video signal, an audio signal and an index signal are recorded to a cassette via a recording amplifier 5 and a video head 7 by a system controlling computer 1. In this case, the index signal includes a program data and an ID signal (ID number) proper to the cassette. On the other hand, the signal reproduced by the video head 7 is taken into the computer 1 via a reproducing amplifier 9 and a reproduction signal processing system 11, and recorded in a memory 13 after it is turned to completely correspond to the ID number. Accordingly, a special device for reading the ID signal is not required, so that the VTR is simplified. Moreover, since the ID signal is always present where the video signal exists, the ID signal can be read out quickly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the microfeeding of a head drum by providing two screws having different leads each other, a composing a differential screw mechanism by these two screws and moving the head drum in the axial direction by the differential screw mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the double nut 30 fixed to an output shaft 29 is rotated by driving a feed motor 27, the double nut 30 is moved in the vertical direction for a housing 32 with the lead L1 of a male screw 31, as the male screw 31 formed on the outer peripheral face of the nut 30 is engaged with the female screw 33 of the housing 32. On the other hand, since the driving screw 35 engaged with the female screw 34 at the inner side of the double nut 30 is checked in its rotation by a spline 36, the lead L2 of the female screw 34 is moved in the vertical direction for the double nut 30, the nut 30 is moved in the reverse direction by the L1 and the driving screw 35 is moved in the axial direction with the L1-L2 for the housing 32 and a chassis 26. Due to the driving screw 35 being linked with the drum 10 via a guide block 22 and stationary drum 13, the drum 10 is moved in the axial direction to reduce the difference L1-L2 in the leads and the microfeeding of the head drum 10 can be performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain the horizontal vibration of a tape, to improve the effect of reducing an impact error and to obtain a good-quality reproduced picture by providing a vibration preventing member which guides the tape from both sides near the leaving part of a tape guiding drum. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recording or reproducing, the tape 2 is allowed to travel about a guiding tape guide 4a, the tape guiding drum 1, the slit 5a of a horizontal vibration restraining device 5 and a fixed tape guide 4b. Therefore, the tape 2 is guided from both sides of the tape 2 by the slit 5a of the device 5 between the leaving part of the drum 1 and the guide 4b to restrain the horizontal vibration. Thus, the vertical vibration of the tape 2, that means, the effect of reducing the impact error is improved and the picture quality on the reproduced picture is prevented from being deteriorated.
