Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit an operation that a commodity purchaser himself (or herself) inputs his (or her) resident address in the case of purchasing a commodity on an online store or the like and to reduce an input operation that a card is inserted or put into/over a reader or the like. SOLUTION: An information processing system is provided with: an e-money card EMj for charging processing for settling a purchase price or the like of a commodity 30 in processing commodity order receiving information generated in the online store for purchasing or leasing the commodity 30 through the Internet 20; a card communication apparatus CMj for reading delivery destination information indicating the delivery destination of the commodity which is recorded in the card EMj; and a terminal device INj for receiving the order of the commodity, which is connected to the card communication apparatus CMj for receiving a commodity order and preparing commodity order receiving information. The terminal device INj notifies an information processing system for managing commodity order reception and delivery of the commodity order receiving information in which the delivery destination information is associated with commodity selection information. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of leakage of secret information to the outside by simply executing connection setting of wireless data communication with almost no mistake. SOLUTION: Temporary setting information 12 is previously stored in a terminal 11. The temporary setting information 12 is transmitted to a terminal 14 via infrared communication 15. The terminal 14 generates setting information 16 on the basis of the temporary setting information and stores the setting information 16. The terminal 14 transmits the notification of connection completion to the terminal 11 via a wireless LAN 17. When the terminal 11 receives the notification of connection completion from the terminal 14, update operation is executed so as to designate the information of a connection destination to the terminal 14 since the number of the terminal 14 is included in the notification of connection completion. The terminal 11 has setting information 18 as a result of the update of the temporary setting information 12. The terminals 11, 14 are in a state of being connected to a network capable of executing bidirectional wireless LAN communication. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in transmission efficiency in the case of transferring the data block of a fixed length between respective nodes while utilizing a prescribed time slot among plural time slots respectively provided in respective continuous cycles. SOLUTION: A control node manages the transmission of synchronous communication data of respective nodes for the unit of one or plural cycles. The information of this unit is reported from the respective nodes to the control node, for example. Each node finds the total data length of synchronous communication data to be transmitted in one cycle, for example (S11), finds the remainder by dividing this total data length with the data length of a data block (S12), obtains the information of the unit by utilizing this remainder (ST13-ST18) and reports it to the control node (ST19). The control node manages the transmission of synchronous communication data of the respective nodes for the unit of one or plural cycles so that the useless part of the data block can be reduced and improvement in the transmission efficiency can be attained.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break of a frequency band capacity and contention of stream numbers. SOLUTION: A node 5 that is a portal of a bridge and a management node stores to its RAM 53 a band capacity and stream information usable for synchronized communications. In the case of conducting synchronized communication between a node 3 connecting with an IEEE 1394 bus 1 and a node 6 connecting with an IEEE 1394 bus 2, a node 3 reserves a band capacity and a stream number to be used, corresponding to the available band capacity and the stream information stored in the RAM 53 of the node 5.

PURPOSE:To realize a higher compression efficiency by providing a parameter common use means to the coder, obtaining parameter information of coding for each channel and using the parameter information in common between at least >=2 channels. CONSTITUTION:Audio data of each channel are received from terminals 112a, 112b, and fed to re-quantization devices 108a, 108b. On the other hand, the result of calculation of each channel common processing cost is received from terminals 113a, 113b and fed to a scale factor common processing circuit 105, in which a scale factor is processed in common. Values max (SF1, SF2) for the common processing are obtained from each unit (SF1, SF2 are values of scale factor of two channels of units whose common processing cost is calculated) to use the result as the scale factor of each unit. Then, a common sub- information quantity is obtained, and a word length is decided and finally each of the re-quantization devices 108a, 108b is re-quantized for each channel based on the obtained common parameter and the result is outputted from terminals 114a, 114b as coding data.
