    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform satisfactory emphasis and deemphasis by supplying the output of an emphasis/deemphasis circuit to a deemphasis/emphasis circuit and correcting errors with subtraction. CONSTITUTION:The input signal of an input terminal 11 is supplied to a pseudo deemphasis circuit 1, supplied via an equivalent delay line 12, HPF14 and non- linear circuit 15 to a subtractor 13 to perform deemphasis. All emphasis circuit 2 for inspection emphasizes the input by an adder 17 through an equivalent delay line 16, HPF18, and non-linear circuit 19, inputted to the terminal 11 by a subtractor 20, and subtracted from a signal through a delay line 21. An error component deemphasis circuit 3 supplies the input through an equivalent delay line 22, HPF24, gain control amplifier 25 to be deemphasized. The output of the non-linear circuit 19 controls a gain control circuit 27 through the equivalent delay line 26, and controls the amplifier 25. The output where the error component is deemphasized and the output of the pseudo-deemphasis circuit is added by an adder 18 via the equivalent delay line 29, the error difference of the almost deemphasized signal is corrected. The satisfactory emphasis/ deemphasis can be performed with the multilevel correction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent illegal dubbing in an excellent way by inserting a signal generated sequentially into a video signal via a cryptographic circuit and comparing a signal obtained through the application of the generated signal to the cryptographic circuit with a succeeding inserted signal so as to discriminate the propriety of dubbing. CONSTITUTION:At first, a signal enabling dubbing is generated. An optional is sequentially generated from a cryptographic circuit 3 and fed to one fixed contact of a switch 6. Moreover, a switch 6 is changed over by a signal from a timing decoder 7 and a signal inserted with a signal generated sequentially by the cryptographic circuit 3 at a prescribed position of the video signal is generated. Then the signal is used to discriminate the propriety of dubbing. When the signal inserted at a prescribed position of the video signal is coincident with the signal generated from a cryptographic circuit 13 resulting from a preceding field signal sequentially, a signal detected by a coincidence detection circuit 15 is latched. On the other hand, they are dissident, the detection signal from the coincidence detection circuit 15 is not obtained and dubbing is inhibited.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an accurate servo function to be accomplished regardless of the quantity of a tape tension by applying a signal detected by a tension detector both to the first circuit which includes a high bus filter and to the second circuit which includes a linear compensation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal detected by a tension detector 4 is applied to a high bus filter 11, and is simultaneously applied to a combined circuit which consists of a compensation circuit 14 for compensating the non-linearity of detecting characteristics of the detector over all ranges of detected signals and of a comparison circuit 5 for obtaining error signals, allowing the tape tension of a tape recorder to be controlled in response to the signal which is synthesized by the output signal from the above mentioned combined circuit and by the output signal from the high bus filter 11.
