Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform recovery processing when recording of data for a disk type recording medium is not performed normally. SOLUTION: Data in accordance with applied shock (force) is output from a sensor 19. A sensor level decision part 55 judges whether a value indicated by the input data is the prescribed level value or more or not, and outputs the result to an indication output part 54. When data from the sensor level decision part 55 indicates the judged result that the value is the prescribed level value or more, the indication output part 54 judges that shock is applied and performs processing of prohibition to start of drive or the like. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably carry out recovery processing when data is not recorded normally in a disk-like recording medium. SOLUTION: Data according to applied shock (force) is output from a sensor 19. A sensor level determination part 55 determines whether a value shown by the input data is not smaller than a prescribed level value, and outputs the result thereof to an instruction output part 54. When data from the sensor level determination part 55 shows the result of determining that the input data is not smaller than the prescribed level value, the instruction output part 54 determines that the shock is applied, and carries out processing of prohibiting the start of drive etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording device and a method for displaying the residual amount of an optical recording medium, by which the finish or unfinish of close session processing is easily visually understandable and the judgment of propriety of the close session processing is easy to be made. SOLUTION: A CD-R drive part 2 writes data into CD-R 26. A close session processing part 4 performs the close session processing so that a CD-ROM drive device being a readout dedicated device can read out information written in the CD-R 26 by the CD-R drive part 2. An LCD panel part 12 displays information about the closing session processing by the closing session processing part 4. A control part 5 makes the LCD panel part 12 display the information about the closing session processing on the basis of the existence of the closing session processing by the closing session processing part 4.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the troubles that occur in a closed session operation time. SOLUTION: The digital still camera 1 is provided with a vibration detection sensor 24. The control part 25 of the camera 1 controls the analyzing processing (closed session) according to a condition for reading out the data recorded on a recording medium 26 via a reproducer corresponding to a CD-ROM, etc. In regard to the control of a closed session operation, the closed session operation is started when a prescribed time has passed after the execution of the closed session operation is selected by a user. At the same time, the remaining time set before the closed session operation is started is counted down and displayed. When a vibration detection means detects vibrations after the count- down operation is over or during the count-down operation set before the closed session operation is started, the closed session operation is not started.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee writing performance with respect to a recording medium. SOLUTION: For the recording medium 25, where the power calibration area(PCA), program management area(PMA), lead-in area(Lead-in Area) and information area(Information Area) are provided and the test area and the count area for counting the start position, the number times, etc., of the trial writing operation are provided in the power calibration area, the additional information for discriminating the recording medium is described on the test area of the power calibration area.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that can properly correct the top and bottom direction of image information so as to record the resulting information onto a recording medium or display it on a display device when the optical axis of the image pickup optical system of the digital camera is nearly in parallel with the vertical direction. SOLUTION: Figure 4 (A) shows a state of the digital camera 100 the optical axis L of which is orthogonal to the vertical direction. Figure 4 (B) depicts a state of the digital camera 100 the optical axis L of which is in parallel with the vertical direction and the image pickup optical system of which is upward directed in the vertical direction. Figure 4 (C) indicates a state of the digital camera 100 the optical axis L of which is in parallel with the vertical direction and the image pickup optical system of which is downward directed in the vertical direction. A vertical direction gravity sensor of the digital camera 100 is configured such that the sensor senses whether or not the optical axis L of the image pickup optical system of the digital camera 100 is orthogonal to the vertical direction and whether the image pickup optical system of the digital camera 100 is upward directed or downward directed in the vertical direction respectively and the sensor gives its sensing result to a CPU of the digital camera 100.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of circuit and to relieve the load of software processing in the case of converting the number of horizontal and vertical pixels of an image. SOLUTION: A memory controller 5 converts the number of pixels of a photographed image of a CCD 2 and applies joint photographic experts group JPEG compression to the image, a DRAM 9 stores it or an external storage medium 11 records the image. The DRAM 9 stores JPEG data reproduced from the external storage medium 11, applies JPEG expansion to the data and an LCD 8 displays the expanded image via the memory controller 5 and a buffer memory 6. In the case of receiving the photographed image, the memory controller 5 uses an arithmetic circuit of a horizontal pixel number conversion section 51 to conduct horizontal pixel number conversion and the vertical line number of the image is converted by a software stored in a CPU 12. A CCD 2 generates a photographing output whose line number is interleaved in the monitor use E to E mode. The switching of the mode of the CCD 2 is used for conversion of pixel numbers. In the case of confirmation reproduction and of the reproduction, the number of lines is converted by interleaving read addresses from the DRAM 9.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record still images reflecting the movement of an object and the time for specifying the movement and to efficiently use finite recording medium and battery. SOLUTION: This still image recorder provided with an interval photographing function for repeating the still image photographing of the object 30 until reaching a photographing sheet number set beforehand is provided with an image pickup means 21 for obtaining the moving image of the object 30 and outputting the moving image information, an image detection means 22 for detecting the change of the optical amount of the moving image of the object 30 based on the moving image information by the image pickup means 21 and a memory control means 23 controlled by the image detection means 22 for recording still image information by the specified moving image information of the object 30 and the photographing date and time at the time of the change in the recording medium 24 every time the optical amount of the moving image of the object 30 changes.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce software processing by decreasing a circuit scale when the number of pixels is converted. SOLUTION: A memory controller 5 converts the number of pixels of a photographed image of a OCD 2, and the image is JPEG-compressed, captured into a DRAM 9, and stored on an external storage medium 11. Then JPEG data reproduced from the external storage medium 11 are stored in the DRAM 9, JPEG-decompressed, and displayed on an LCD 8 through a memory controller 5 and a buffer memory 6. When the photographed image is captured, the memory controller 5 performs conversion of the number of horizontal pixels by an arithmetic circuit in a horizontal pixel number conversion section 51 and performs conversion of the number of vertical lines by software of a CPU 12. The CCD 2 generates an imaging output having lines thinned out in an EtoE mode for a monitor. Switching of the mode of the CCD 2 is used for the pixel number conversion. When confirmation reproduction or reproduction are performed, the number of lines is converted by thinning out readout addresses of the DRAM 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
