Abstract:
In a ROW-based DVD-RW, a DVD video file is managed according to provisional VMGI (TMP_VMGI) and an extension file other than the DVD video file, such as a JPEG file or the like is managed according to intermediate management information (TMP_EXTI), and temporary space bitmap (TMP_SBM) used in UDF and the like is added to provisional VMGI (TMP_VMGI to record a combination of the DVD video file and extension file such as JPEG file and manage the temporary space. Thereby, the temporary space can be known from TMP_SBM, and even when the extension file has been deleted, the DVD-RW is made interchangeable with a read-only optical disk through finalization. Thus, the present invention allows to record a file of still pictures other than moving pictures and also pad information in a temporary space resulted from deletion of any recorded area.
Abstract:
An information processing device and method, program recording medium, program, and imaging device for simply and flexibly setting different processings for different managed contents. An entry i of a content managing file is composed of the pointer to ~content i~ which is information indicati ng the position of the content i recorded on a recording medium (2), recording date, update date, attribute information including protect information, thumbnail of the content i, text information, a reproduction start script (8 1) that starts before reproduction start of the content i when an instruction t o reproduce the content i is issued according to the operation input by the us er received through an operation unit, and a reproduction end script (82) that starts when the reproduction of the content i is ended. The invention can be applied to an imaging device for recording data on the image of an object obtained by imaging the object on a recording medium.
Abstract:
One node is selected from a plurality of candidates for a bus management nod e. A bus management node 11 has a register for channels in use REG 1 and a bus capacity register REG2. Before starting the synchronous communication, each node 12 transmits a read-out command to the register for channels in use REG 1 and t he register for channels in use REG1 in order to read out their contents for ascertainin g the number of the un-used channel and the residual capacity. If there is any un- used channel and any residual bus capacity, the node 12 transmits write commands to these registers REG 1 and REG2 so that the number of the channel to be in us e and the capacity of the bus to be in use will be stored in the register for channels in use REG 1 and the bus capacity register REG2. This enables bus management to be achiev ed easily in a system performing synchronous communication between plural nodes connected to the bus.
Abstract:
A mode processing circuit for a multiple operational mode electronic apparatus such as a video tape recorder includes a mode stack having a plurality of stages in which an input command signal is stored as an operational mode of the electronic apparatus. The operational mode supplied to the mode stack is sequentially stored and optimized, and the optimized operational mode is read out from the mode stack in sequential order and then executed after the transition of the operational mode has ended.
Abstract:
A recording method of a recording medium such as an optical disc. Each time one VTS is created, padding is executed and after the VTS, a recording area is assured for a new TMP_VMGI and a subsequent title VTSI, VTSM VOBS, so that each time one VTS is created, a new TMP/VMGI is recorded after the VTS so that the TMP_VMGI is recorded at the position added by the number of VTS. Thus, even if management information cannot be read in by updating exceeding the medium write intensity with respect to the recording area of the TMP_VMGI of the innermost circumference, it is possible to read in management information from a TMP_VMGI recorded in the other recording area, thereby enabling finalization.
Abstract:
A video data recording device having interface with a computer. When recording data by an interface (24) with the computer and when recording streaming data (D11) by video data and the like, the buffer size of a recording buffer (17A) is switched for temporarily storing these data for recording onto a recording medium (18).
