    Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment may include a base layer including a first surface and a second surface, a pixel circuit layer including a first line on the first surface, a display element layer on the pixel circuit layer and including a display element, a thin film encapsulation layer on the display element layer, a first protective layer on the thin film encapsulation layer, and a second line on the second surface to correspond to the first line. The first protective layer may include a transparent insulating material.

    Abstract: A display device includes an anode electrode on the emission area of the substrate, a pixel-defining layer on the non-emission area of the substrate and including a first opening, a first bank layer on the pixel-defining layer, including a second opening, and including a conductive material, a second bank layer on the first bank layer and including a tip that protrudes over a side surface of the first bank layer toward the first opening, a cathode electrode on the anode electrode and contacting the side surface of the first bank layer, and an electrode pattern on the second bank layer and including a same material as the first cathode electrode. The cathode electrode and the electrode pattern are spaced apart from each other, and the electrode pattern covers a surface of the second bank layer facing the first opening in line with the protruding tip.
