    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify connection work and handling of loudspeaker cables for connection of plural speakers to one amplifier. SOLUTION: Loudspeaker cables 10 are composed of an amplifier side connector 11, flat cables 12 as a cable body, and speaker side connectors 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. The amplifier side connector 11 is connected with a connector provided to the amplifier. Two cords respectively branch from the flat cables 12 according to the positions of the speakers to be connected. The flat cables 10 of this type are arranged, such that the flat cables 12 go around the respective speakers, then the amplifier side connector 11 is connected with the amplifier. Here, the speaker side connector 13 is connected with the speaker closest to the amplifier, and the speaker side connector 14 is connected with the next closest speaker, the speaker side connector 15 is connected with the second closest speaker, and so on.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to greatly improve electromagnetic conversion characteristics, such as erasing rate and recording characteristics, to shorten the spacing distances between respective channels and to embody a higher recording density by drastically decreasing the erroneous erasure and crosstalks of magnetic head elements. SOLUTION: Respective magnetic cores 11 to 14 of the channels C1 to C4 are reversed in the polarities of the magnetic fluxes generated from the magnetic gaps of the respective magnetic cores 11 to 14 from each other. Namely, the winding direction of the respective magnetic coils wound and formed in the respective magnetic cores 12, 13 of, for example, the channel C2 and the channel C3 are reversed from each other.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate the surface level difference so as to prevent the occurrence of a gap between a magnetic recording medium and a sliding surface during use of a magnetic head device by disposing a nonmagnetic plate in a side face section orthogonally crossing the magnetic recording medium sliding direction of a magnetic head element with a plurality of magnetic cores. CONSTITUTION: Four back cores 15 with coil bobbins 16 inserted therein are adhered to be fixed to the lower part of a front core 17 by using a hardenable resin 25, etc., the winding sections 15a of the back cores 15 are magnetically connected to tracks 21 to 24 respectively to be magnetic cores 11 to 14. Then, a magnetic head element 1 is made by adhering and fixing nonmagnetic plates 3a and 3b to both side face sections 17a and 17b of the core 17 by using the resin 25 and housed in a head case 2. Thus, adhered and fixed spots by means of the resin 25 are sufficiently reinforced and uneven wear on a sliding surface is suppressed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a signal processor capable of executing rate conversion processing without resetting a clock at the start of a scanning line independently of the number of samples per scanning line and interconnecting integrated circuits through the number of signal lines smaller than the number of quantizing bits. CONSTITUTION:After converting a carry chrominance signal C into color difference signals U, V by a color demodulating circuit 37, a rate conversion circuit 38 executes down conversion processing for multiplying a sampling rate by 1/8. In this case, the down conversion processing is executed after executing false data inserting and data deleting processing so that the number of pieces of data in each scanning line becomes the integer times of 8. Thereby even when a clock is not reset at the start of a scanning line, the sampling points of respective scanning lines match each other in a state that a sampling frequency becomes finally 1/8 times. In an array circuit 40, 2-bit transmission data are obtd. by rearranging respective bit data of the color difference signals U, V subjected to the down conversion processing to be 8 bits for one sample.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute appropriate information processing in response to the presence/absence of sub-sampling and to improve the picture quality of a repro duced picture by correcting a frequency characteristic of color information the same as that of color information recorded through sampling. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction system 2 is provided with an LPF 25, an HPF 26 extracting color difference data from reproduced data from an A/D converter 22, a frequency characteristic compensation circuit 35 being a frequency compensation means giving the same frequency characteristic to color difference data via the LPF 25 and the HPF 26 as that of color difference data subject to subsampling processing at recording, and a changeover switch 36 being a changeover means switching color data manually and outputting the result. Then the color information not subject to subsampling is processed in parallel by the frequency characteristic compensation means converting the frequency characteristic of the color information not subject to subsampling into the frequency characteristic the same as that of the color information subject to subsampling. Thus, deterioration in picture quality of a reproduced picture caused by subsampling the color information recorded without subsampling when it is reproduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve picture quality by compressing the band of a chroma signal, converting the band, converting the band into a low band and outputting the converted signal to a magnetic head together with a brightness signal. CONSTITUTION:In this magnetic recording/reproducing device 24 for recording a signal C in a prescribed magnetic recording medium 13, extracting the signal C from a reproduced signal S1 reproduced by a reproducing head 12, executing the interpolaring processing of the extracted signal, extending the band of the interpolated signal, and then outputting the extended signal, the frequency characteristic of the signal C is corrected so as to compensate the frequency characteristics of the head 12 and the medium 13 at the time of recording, the corrected signal is recorded in the medium 13, and in the frequency band of the signal C, the frequency characteristic of the whole recording/reproducing system is set up to a cosine roll-off characteristic. Consequently the band compression of the signal C can be executed by sub-sampling it and the picture quality of a reproduced image can be improved correspondingly to the band compression.
