Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a squelch circuit from malfunctioning even if received electric field strength is low. SOLUTION: A reception means 2 receives a radio signal including a tone signal. When a tone signal is included in the output signal of the reception means 2, a tone detection circuit 10 detects it. When the tone detection circuit 10 detects the tone signal, an opening/closing switch 8 is closed. When the tone detection circuit 10 does not detect the tone signal, the opening/closing switch 8 is opened. When the reception electric field strength in the reception means 2 is small, a control section 22 sets the tone detection circuit 10 to the non-detection state of tone signals.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital receiver which does not generate noises when having received a packet containing data which cannot be corrected errors. SOLUTION: In a digital communication system which sequentially transmits an analog signal by a digitized packet, a receiver 1 comprises a data processor 12 and an error detector 13. The error detector 13 detects whether or not data in the packet is erroneous. When the error detector 13 does not detect a data error in the packet, the data processor 12 reproduces data of the packet, and further when the error detector 13 has detected that the packet at a certain point of time is an unnecessary packet containing data having an error, zero level data is reproduced during a period from a point in time when data of the packet received just before the unnecessary packet is at zero crossing to a point in time when data of the packet received just after the unnecessary packet is at zero crossing.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely set a channel of a radio communication system. SOLUTION: Of the radio communication system which has plural devices and at least one repeater while each slave device is equipped with a means for following a channel setting procedure each time transmission is started, the slave device is equipped with a transmitting means S4 for transmitting a radio wave of 1st frequency only momentarily each time transmission is started, a receiving means S5 for receiving a radio wave of 2nd frequency sent by the repeater in response to the radio wave of the 1st frequency, and a means S6 which starts a telephone call integral time timer in response to the receiving means.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a battery by performing the intermittent communication in the multi channel access type radio communication device driven by the battery. CONSTITUTION:When a multi channel access type radio communication device 10a completes the transmission of a control signal for originating a call, an intermittent timer 22a of a communication device 10a is set to the reference time. When the control signal being at the same time as the end of the transmission, an intermittent timer 22b of a radio communication device 10b is set to the reference time. Based on energizing signals to be generated by the intermittent timers 22a and 22b in the lapse of the prescribed time from the reference time, communication control sections 18a and 18b make radio communication devices 10a and 10b communicable. In the non generation state of the energizing signal, the communication of the communication devices 10a and 10b is stopped.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely detect whether the operator of a mobile station side is absent or not by integrating the duration of an incoming call sound signal generated after a prescribed time from the point of time detecting an incoming call signal first, and generating an absence detecting signal at the point of time attaining the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:An incoming call sound is generated corresponding a call from a base station, and an incoming call sound detecting circuit 110 detects the signal of the incoming call sound. The control circuit 120 supplies a trigger signal to a timer circuit 130 at the first leading edge of the detecting signal and start a timer. And, when receiving a time-up signal, a timer circuit 140 is started at the point of time, and simultaneously to the start, an incoming call sound detecting signal supplied from the detecting circuit 110 after that or the signal of the time width corresponding to it is supplied in an integrating counter 150. The integrating counter 150 supplies the signal to the control circuit 120 at the point of time when an integrated time become a prescribed time Y set preliminarily, then the control circuit 120 outputs the absence detecting signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely recognize whether oneself is inside a radio wave arriving distance area from an own station transmitter by transmitting the identification number of an opposite station and an arriving distance confirming signal from the transmitter, and normally discriminating whether this identification number and the confirming number are received in a receiver. CONSTITUTION:An encoder 140 encodes the arriving distance confirming signal and the identification number of the opposite station, prepares a second encoded signal, and supplies this to a transmitting circuit 150 then transmits. On the other hand, A receiver 200 decodes these encoded signals by a decoder 220, then, first, takes out the identification number of the opposite station, and applies to a comparing circuit 230. The comparator circuit 230 compaires the identification number with the identification number of the own station. If the both identification numbers coincide, the comparator circuit 230 calls out an output and opens a gate. Therefore, when the second encoded signal is received, an arriving distance confirmation display circuit 250 is operated, and it is displayed by a sound, light, and the like that the receiver 200 is inside the radio wave arriving distance area from a transmitter 100.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perform infrared communication with an opposite party device while reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: This device of a portable type used for an infrared conference system performs bidirectional infrared communication with a light-transmitting/receiving device attached on the ceiling. For this purpose, the device is provided with an almost cylindrical light-transmitting/receiving unit 30 having a photodiodes 50 as a light-receiving means and a light-emitting diode 60 as a light-transmitting means. Also, this light-transmitting/receiving unit 30 can manually be rotated around its own center line 34 as an axis. Accordingly, the light-transmitting/receiving unit 30 is rotated in accordance with the position of the light-transmitting/receiving device as an opposite party device, and thus the infrared communication with the light-transmitting/receiving device can be satisfactorily performed. Also, numbers of the photodiodes 50 and the light-emitting diodes 60 are reduced, and thus the power consumption of the entire device can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
