Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a plural signal level transmitted on a transmission line without variation, freely select the frequency used and the level, and transmit a large amount of information. SOLUTION: A diplexer 18 mixes a multiplex modulated signal obtained by modulating a microphone signal and a sensor signal as one carrier wave of by a transmitter 14, and an image signal from a camera 4, and transmits the mixed signal by a coaxial line 2. A diplexer 20 separates the image signal and the multiplex modulated signal, supplies the image signal to a monitor receiver 24, and demodulates the multiplex modulated signal to the voice signal and the sensor signal, by the receiver 28 and they are supplied to a speaker 30 and an alarm device 32. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a receiving region. SOLUTION: A receiving system comprises a plurality (N) of receivers each having a voice input terminal 26 and an RSSI input terminal 29, and a voice output terminal 27 and an RSSI output terminal 30. These receivers are connected in series to constitute the system. Each receiver compares a own RSSI voltage with the RSSI voltage input from the receiver of a preceding stage side, and transmits the voice signal and the RSSI voltage of the receiver of the side which good receives the higher RSSI voltage, that is, a radio wave in a stronger receiving electric field, as its own signal to the receiver of the subsequent stage side. Thus, the voice signal and the RSSI voltage of the receiver which best receives the radio wave of the respective receivers re output from the receiver [N] disposed at the last. Accordingly, when the respective receives are disposed suitably separately, the receiving region as the receiving system can be extended.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a reception area by arranging plural antennas. SOLUTION: Reception signals obtained by receiving radio waves sent from a microphone 5 by the respective antennas 1 are inputted to respectively correspondingly provided reception parts 6. The respective reception parts 6 convert the reception signals inputted to the respective ones to audible frequency signals, input them to a changeover part 7, generate an RSSI(reception strength instruction signal) voltage proportional to the signal level of the reception signals and supply it to a CPU 8. The CPU 8 judges the antenna 1 of highest reception electric field strength from the respective RSSI signals and controls the changeover part 7 so as to output the audible frequency signals obtained from the reception signals of the antenna 1 from an output terminal 9. Also, in the constitution, since a mixing/distributing device or the like is not provided in order to provide the plural antennas 1, the influence or the like of the insertion loss and a phase difference among the respective reception signals is not received.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate fault connection in a composite device. SOLUTION: A composite device 32 supplies a composite signal, obtained by combining an image signal and a modulation signal to a coaxial line 35. A demultiplexer 48 separates the composite signal supplied from the transmission line 35 to the image signal and the modulated signal. In the composite device 32, connector with the same form is used fors an input terminal 40 and an output terminal 42. When the image signal is supplied to the input terminal 40, it is composited with the modulated signal from a transmitter 36 stored in the device, and is outputted to the output terminal 42. When the image signal is supplied to the output terminal 42, the modulated signal included in the composite signal outputted to the input terminal 40 is attenuated. In the demultiplexer 48, a receiver 56 which generates a level detection signal which shows the level of the modulated signal is installed. The level detection signal is supplied to the fault connection discriminating unit 64 and compared to a predetermined threshold. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory system where an image pickup device surely transmits a signal such as a voice signal and a sensor signal denoting a state of a supervisory area to a supervisory room together with an image pickup signal without the need for new installation of a transmission line. SOLUTION: The image pickup device 2 placed to pick up an image of a supervisory area transmits the image pickup signal picking up the image of the supervisory area through a coaxial cable 6. A transmitter 12 placed in the supervisory area transmits a modulation signal modulated by a voice signal in the supervisory area. A receiver 16 placed in the vicinity of the image pickup device 2 receives the modulation signal to generate a received signal. The image pickup device 2 transmits a transmission signal on the basis of the received signal to the coaxial cable 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory system where a loss of a wireless communication signal by a coaxial cable is compensated in the case of transmitting the wireless communication signal with a base band image pickup signal by the coaxial cable. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 2 picks up a supervisory area to generate a base band image pickup signal. The image pickup device 2 transmits the base band image pickup signal to a base station placed apart from the supervisory area through a coaxial cable 6. The base station is provided with a receiver 16 and the supervisory area is provided with a transmitter 8, and they make communication with a high frequency communication signal whose frequency differs from a frequency band of the base band image pickup signal. The high frequency communication signal synthesized with the base band image pickup signal is transmitted through the coaxial cable 6. A booster 18 is interposed in the coaxial cable 6. The booster 18 amplifies only the high frequency signal to compensate the attenuation of the high frequency signal in the coaxial cable.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device capable of verifying that an apparatus operates properly, and surely reporting occurrence of an emergency. SOLUTION: A transmitter 2 always transmits a wave, and when an input signal is provided, it modulates the waves and transmits them. Corresponding to an operating signal from the operation of an operation switch 6, an alarm signal is provided as an input signal from an alarm signal generating section. A receiver 22 is located at a distance from the transmitter 2 and receives the wave from the transmitter 2. When the receiver 22 is not receiving the wave, a display 48 displays 'abnormal', and when the receiver 22 is receiving the wave, the display 48 displays 'normal'. When the receiver 22 is receiving the wave and demodulating the alarm signal, the display 48 has a displayed 'emergency' on it.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a squelch circuit from malfunctioning even if received electric field strength is low. SOLUTION: A reception means 2 receives a radio signal including a tone signal. When a tone signal is included in the output signal of the reception means 2, a tone detection circuit 10 detects it. When the tone detection circuit 10 detects the tone signal, an opening/closing switch 8 is closed. When the tone detection circuit 10 does not detect the tone signal, the opening/closing switch 8 is opened. When the reception electric field strength in the reception means 2 is small, a control section 22 sets the tone detection circuit 10 to the non-detection state of tone signals.
