Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good ink absorption and waterproof property by containing cationic colloidal silica coupled and/or branched in a state of a rosary in a recording layer. SOLUTION: Herein, used for cationic colloidal coupled and/or branched in a form of a rosary is, i.e., one having a long chain structure of cationic colloidal silica coupled in a form a rosary, and one having coupled silica branched, or the like. The cationic colloidal silica coupled and/or branched in a form of a rosary is that the primary particles of a spherical silica are, at least, two or more pieces, preferably, three or more pieces, and more preferably, five or more pieces in coupled relation, in addition, one having branched particles coupled in a form of a rosary is contained therein. Also, such an ionic property is required to be a cationic property, and such matter is obtained by reacting a mixture of a multivalent ion such as an aluminum ion in silica, and charging the particle surface of silica in a cationic property.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet excellent in ink absorbency, water resistance and moistureproofness by a method wherein a cationic copolymer having polyorganocyloxane units is included in an ink receiving layer provided on at least one side of a base material. SOLUTION: As a base materials, a paper, a synthetic paper, a plastic film or the like is used. Especially, a white polyester film having an apparent specific gravity of 0.4-13 is perferable. By providing an ink receiving layer on at least one side of this base material, a recording sheet is produced. In this case, by including a cationic copolymer having polyorganocyloxane units in the ink receiving layer, water resistance is improved. Further, the ink receiving layer is mainly made of the cationic copolymer having polyorganocyloxane units, a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin, hydrophilic polymer resin and colloidal silica and the preferable ionicity of the colloidal silica used is cationic.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain dropping-proof properties effectively for a long time by providing a coating layer comprising a hydrophilic resin with a specific glass transition temperature at least, on the surface of a fluororesin film and an inorganic hydrophilic colloidal substance as essential components. SOLUTION: A coating layer comprising a hydrophilic resin whose glass transition temperature falls within a range of -15 to 75 deg.C and an inorganic hydrophilic colloidal substance, as essential components, is provided on at least, on one of the surfaces of a fluororesin film. The fluororesin film which is composed mainly of an ethylene-ethylene tetrafluoride copolymer is especially preferable for use from a viewpoint of mechanical properties, coat making efficiency and suitability for working. The hydrophilic resin may be a water-soluble resin or a water dispersion resin, and especially, acrylic resin is preferable, among such resins, from a viewpoint of high water absorption due to the sharp distribution of a pore diameter after cost molding, a large pore area, and mechanical stability of the coat and coat strength. The inorganic hydrophilic colloidal substance is colloidal silica, colloidal alumina or colloidal titania.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well keep drip-proof properties over a long period of time by providing a coating layer based on an ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin and an inorg. hydrophilic colloid substance on at least one surface of a plastic film. SOLUTION: The coating surface of a plyethylene terephthalate resin film is subjected to corona discharge treatment. A uniform coating agent with a concn. of about 10wt.% prepared by mixing an ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin and a methanol silica sol. with methanol being a diluting solvent is applied to the treated surface of the film and the coated film is dried to provide a coating layer. By this method, the coating layer based on the ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin and the inorg. hydrophilic colloid substance is formed on at least one surface of the plastic film. By this constitution, an agricultural cover material generating no bleed-out, excellent in close adhesiveness and hydrophilicity, having drip-proof properties and also excellent in durability is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the label which does not generate the peeling, rupture, thermal shrinkage and obscure printing of the label in spite of the repetition of cleaning by having a printing surface formed by heat resistant ink and a heat, water and chemical resistant adhesive layer on a plastic film base material. CONSTITUTION:This label is constituted by coating and providing the rear surface of the plastic film base material having the printing surface formed by the heat resistant ink on the surface with the heat, water and chemical resistant adhesive layer. The heat resistance of the heat resistant ink and adhesive is 150 deg.C, preferably 200 deg.C, more preferably 240 deg.C. The adhesive has the sufficient power to withstand detergents, such as powder soap, synthetic detergents, hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorous acid, and hot water. Such adhesive includes adhesives of an acrylic system, silicone system and synthetic rubber system. The plastic film base material consists of one kind of the resins selected from polyester and polyamide. The surface of the adhesive layer of the label is stuck to the cloth.
