Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ink absorption, the image quality and the water resistance by a method wherein a receiving layer is formed of a crosslinking polyalkyleneoxide of a specified melt index, which is obtained by making polyalkyleneoxide of a specified average molecular weight and an isocyanate compound react, as the major component. SOLUTION: A receiving layer is formed of a crosslinking polyalkyleneoxide of which the melt index is 0.5-100, which is obtained by making polyalkyleneoxide of which the average molecular weight is 1,000-1,000,000 and an isocyanate compound react, as the major component. Polyalkyleneoxide is polyethyleneoxide, polypropyleneoxide, polybutyleneoxide, and their copolymer or a mixture, etc. Also, for the isocyanate compound, 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, hexamethylenediisocyanate, 2,4-tolylenediisocyanate are especially preferable, and 1-80 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of polyalkyleneoxide, is preferable.

SOLUTION: An anti-bacterial composite stretched polyester film prepd. by laminating a film layer A and a film layer B both contg. inorg. compd. contg. silver into A/B and A/B/A is provided. The composite drawn polyester film with a combination of A/B or A/B/A is a biaxially stretched film prepd. by extruding polyester polymers through a composite nozzle in a constitution of A/B or A/B/A and making it into a sheet (casting), and drawing this composite sheet by, e.g. 2 to 6-fold in the longitudinal direction and furthermore, stretching the film by 2 to 6-fold in the transverse direction and heat-setting it. As the inorg. compd. contg. silver, those compd. in which silver ions are carried on an inorg. compd. are used and zeolite, zirconium phosphate and montmorillonite are applicable.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an optimum control label for coating and plating which is not colored, discolored or released by printing an electrical insulating substrate resistant to heat, water and chemicals and coating the unprinted opposite face with an electrical insulating adhesive resistant to heat, water and chemicals. CONSTITUTION: An electrical insulating substrate resistant to heat, water and chemicals is printed, and the unprinted opposite face is coated with an electrical insulating adhesive resistant to heat, water and chemicals. Film and fabric are exemplified as the plastic substrate. Polyester film, nylon film, polyoefin film, etc., are used as a film, and the substrate is preferably light-colored to easily read the printed characters. The fabric consists of synthetic fiber such as nylon, polyester and acrylic fibers. Acrylic, melamine, phenolic, urethanic adhesives, etc., are exemplified as the adhesive.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting and facilitate reading of characters, etc., even after fabrication without receiving the influence of the fabrication by printing one surface of a transparent plastic film having resistant to heat, water and chemicals and coating the printed surface thereof with a tacky adhesive having the resistant to heat, water and chemicals. CONSTITUTION:The printed surface side of the label is adhered on cloth via the tacky adhesive applied thereon. The printing appears on the front surface side of the label through the transparent plastic film and, therefore, the front surface side is subjected to printing inside out. Both of the transparent plastic film as the base material and the tacky adhesive which have the resistant to heat, water and chemicals are used. The label stuck on the cloth exhibits the high resistant to heat, water and chemicals. There are films consisting of polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, fluororesins, etc., as the transparent plastic film. There are polyethylene, etc., as the polyolefin, nylon 6, etc., as the polyamide and polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., as the fluororesins.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the joining property between respective layers, and the thermal laminating property with PVC by a method wherein a polymer binder which is provided at least on one surface of a base material, is constituted of a polyester-based resin, a vinyl chloride-based resin, and an epoxy resin. SOLUTION: A polymer binder of a film wherein a receiving layer containing the polymer binder, a crosslinking bonding agent, and a lubricant is provided at least on one surface of a base material, is constituted of a polyester-based resin, a vinyl chloride-based resin, and an epoxy resin. As the polyester based resin which is one of the polymer binder, a polyester resin containing a polar group, or a copolymerized polyester resin for which a compound having an unsaturated binding is grafted, is desirable. On a primer layer of this easily bondable film, various kinds of coating resin layers or an ink are applied, or a thermal lamination with a PVC film or a sheet is performed. The easily bondable layer is excellent in transparency and glossiness, and a clear printing can be performed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent suitability for adhesion and printing, by constituting a macromolecular binding agent out of modified polyester resin or the modified polyester resin containing a vinyl group. SOLUTION: An easy adhesion film is formed by providing a receptive layer containing a macromolecular binding agent, a crosslinkinig agent and a lubricant at least on one surface of a base. Although polyester, acrylic polyurethane resins and the like can be used for the macromolecular binding agent, the polyester resin containing a polar group or copolymer polyester resin obtained by grafting a compound having an unsaturated bond is preferable among them. The polyester resin containing the polar group is obtained as a desired polymer by esterifying an acid and a glycol component, or by subjecting them to melting and polycondensation with a reaction catalyst such as an ester interchange catalyst or a polymerization catalyst used. The copolymer polyester resin obtained by grafting the compound having the unsaturated bond is obtained by grafting at least one kind of the compound having the unsaturated bond onto the polyester resin containing the polar group.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural material capable of retaining good drip proofness for an extended period by providing a coating. layer having hydrophilic groups, and containing particles having photocatalytic effect, on at least one surface of a plastic film. SOLUTION: Agricultural material can be obtained by coating a coating layer containing inorganic hydrophilic colloid substance, lithium silicate and/or silane derivative, and particles having photocatalytic effect on at least one surface of a plastic film composed of a fluororesin film, which can utilize incident ultraviolet light, has good weathering properties, and generates almost no deterioration caused by redox reaction through photocatalyst. For example, colloidal silica loses a hydroxyl groups, and at the same time, hydrophilic nature by running water, or sunlight. However, when the photocatalytic particles are exposed to a specified wavelength, which starts photocatalytic reaction, oxygen and/or water in the air is decomposed, and the oxygen on the colloidal silica surface is oxidized, or a hydroxyl group is combined with a radical part, thereby, hydrophilic nature is shown again.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ink absorbing properties, water resistance and humidity resistance by specifying the gel molar fraction of an ink-receptive layer formed at least, on one of the faces of a base material. SOLUTION: A corona discharge treatment is applied to the surface of a biaxial oriented polyester film to form an ink receptive layer on a discharge- treated surface. This ink receptive layer shows a gel molar fraction of 50% or higher for one minute of exposure to water, preferably 80% or higher. When the gel molar fraction is 50% or lower, a print image runs so that it is hardly recognizable definitely and this phenomenon is not desirable. Further, the ink receptive layer is made up of a lower layer comprising a cationic copolymer and a crosslinked polyalkyleneoxide resin as principal components and an upper layer comprising a hydrophilic molecular resin as a principal component. This composition is desirable as the developing properties (brightness) can be improved. In addition, the thickness (d1) of the lower layer made up mainly of the cationic copolymer and the crosslinked polyalkyleneoxide resin and the thickness (d2) of the upper layer made up mainly of the hydrophilic polymer resin should preferably be d1>=d2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a full color image receiver for obtaining an image having satisfactory ink dot reproducibility and transferability with difficulty of damage even in a high speed recording by forming an ink receptive layer of silicone resin or active energy beam curable resin for forming a crosslinked siloxane structure. SOLUTION: As resin for forming an ink receptive layer for forming a thermal transfer image receiver with a plastic film such as polyester film or polyolefin film, silicone resin for forming a crosslinked siloxane structure or active energy beam curable resin of ultraviolet ray or electron beam containing multifunctional acrylic resin as a main body is used. As such silicone resin, methyltrialkoxysilane is used. As the active energy curable resin, resin having acrylate functional group such as polyester resin is used. Optical density of the plastic film is a range of 0.3 to 1.6, and its whiteness is a range of 50 to 110%.
