Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element in which luminous efficiency is enhanced, and which is superior in a chromatic purity with a high luminance. SOLUTION: This is the organic electric field light emitting element wherein a light emitting substance exists between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the element has a fluorescent skeleton coupled by a single bond, and the respectively coupled fluoreseent skeleton includes an organic fluorescent material of a formula 1 having a stereoscopic repulsion. R1 to R18 are respectively selected from hydrogen, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aralkyl group, alkenyl group, cycloalkenyl group, alkynyl group, hydroxyl group, mercapto group, alkoxy group, alkylthio group, aryl ether group, arylthio ether group, aryl group, heterocyclic group, halogen, haloalkane, haloalkene, haloalkyne, cyano group, aldehyde group, carbonyl group, carboxyl group, ester group, carbamoyl group, amino group, nitro group, silyl group, siloxanyl group, and a bonding ring of aromatic, alicyclic or heterocyclic ring formed between an adjacent substituted group.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red light emitting element having high color purity by including at least a styryl heterocyclic derivative having a fluorescence peak wave length being in a specific range and a compound having a pyrromethene skeleton or the metallic complex. SOLUTION: A light emitting material emits the light in a peak wave length of 580 nm to 720 nm by electric energy. This light emitting material includes a styryl heterocyclic derivative having a fluorescence peak wave length of 540 nm to 720 nm and a compound having a pyrromethene skeleton or the metallic complex. The pyrromethene skeleton is expressed by the formula. In the formula, R1 to R7 may be the same or may be different, and are hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, aryl, aralkyl, alkenyl or the like, X is carbon or nitrogen, but in the case of nitrogen, R7 does not exist. B, Be, Mg, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pt or the like are preferably cited as metal capable of coordinating with the metallic complex.
