Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite covered elastic yarn giving a woven/knitted fabric causing no unfavorable appearance such as grin-through when stretched and having excellent stretch property and soft feeling with high texture, to provide a method for producing the above composite covered elastic yarn, and to provide such a woven/knitted fabric. SOLUTION: This composite covered elastic yarn is characterized by having the following structure: a filament yarn or staple yarn is wound at 100-2,000 turns/m around a false-twist covered elastic yarn which, in turn, is made by covering a multifilament false-twist yarn as the sheath yarn substantially twistlessly around an elastic yarn as the core yarn.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugate false twist covered elastic yarn so as to provide a high level of softness without causing defective covering in a sheath part and to provide a method for producing the conjugate false twist covered yarn. SOLUTION: A polyamide multifilament false twisted crimped yarn 2 which is a raw yarn 2' for a sheath part is paralleled into a core/sheath form while drafting a polyurethane elastic yarn 1 that is a raw yarn 1' for a core part to carry out frictional type false twist texturing. The polyurethane elastic yarn 1 is used as the core part and the polyamide multifilament false twist crimped yarn 2 having at least twice false twist texturing histories as the sheath part is twisted and reversed to cover the periphery of the polyurethane elastic yarn 1. Thereby, a conjugate false twist covered elastic yarn Y having a yarn structure in which opened parts Y and entangled parts Ys are alternately formed in the yarn longitudinal direction and the number of the entangled parts Ys in the yarn longitudinal direction is 30-90 entangled parts Ys/18 cm is obtained.

SOLUTION: This bulky conjugate covered yarn has a twistless covered structure obtained by coating the circumference of an elastic yarn 1 of a core yarn with a multifilament false twist yarn 2 in a substantially twistless manner to constitute a false twist covered elastic yarn X and further coating the outer periphery of the false twist covered elastic yarn X with a multifilament false twist yarn Y in a substantially twistless manner. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a false twisted covered elastic yarn having much more improved bulkiness and volume feeling and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This false twisted covered elastic yarn has a twistless covered structure obtained by coating a polyurethane elastic yarn 1 of a core part with a polyamide multifilament false twist yarn 2 having 70-155 dtex fineness in a substantially twistless manner and has >=5.0 apparent yarn diameter ratio and 50-80% stretch recovery. The polyurethane elastic yarn is arranged in parallel with a polyamide multifilament yarn spun and taken up at 250-5,000 m/minute take-up speed and doubled to give a double yarn. The double yarn is subjected to frictional false twisting at 160-185 deg.C at 1.1-1.3 false twist tension ratio to produce the objective false twisted covered elastic yarn.
