Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject polyester fibers excellent in flame retardancy and water repellency, and suitable for sheets for construction works, by imparting the fiber surface with a mixed composition comprising a specific phosphorus compound and a functional chemical. CONSTITUTION: First, a treating liquid composition is prepared by mixing 5 20 pts.wt. of a phosphorus compound of formula III (R1 , R2 and R4 are each phenyl, cresyl or xylenyl; n is 0 or an integer of 1-20) [R3 is of formula I or formula II (A is CH3 CCH3 , 0=S=O or CH3 ) or phenyl, cresyl or xylenyl] with a water-and-oil repellent as functional chemical on unit pt.wt. solid basis, or by mixing 0.2-1 pt.wt. of the phosphorus compound with a polyurethane resin as the functional chemical on unit pt.wt. solid basis. Next, polyester fibers or flame-retardant polyester fibers copolymerized with a bifunctional phosphorus compound as an acid component is imparted with the above treating liquid followed by heat treatment at >=100 deg.C, thus obtaining the objective flame- retardant polyester fibers passing the flame retardancy test (JIS L-1091) and having water repellent performance of 100 points in initial value and >=70 points after washing 10 times.

CONSTITUTION:In a laminate wherein a polyolefln resin layer is bonded to both surfaces of a fiber base fabric, it is characterized in a that a part of a resin has a crosslinked structure, heat-resistant temp. measured according to a method prescribed by JIS Z1651 is 100 deg.C or higher, the abrasion number of times measured according to a method prescribed by JIS L1096 A-1 is 4200 times or more and rigidity measured according to a method prescribed by JIS L1096A (Gurley method) is 300-800mgf. Tarpaulin made of a polyolefin resin is produced by bonding a polyolefin resin layer to both surfaces of a fiber base fabric to form a laminate and irradiating the same with radiation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain various characteristics of a vinyl chloride resin sheet and to obtain an excellent stainproofing property and adhesiveness to a marking film by joining a specific vinyl chloride resin skin layer to at least one surface of a vinyl chloride resin base material layer. CONSTITUTION:The vinyl chloride resin skin layer having surface hardness higher than the surface hardness of the vinyl chloride resin base material layer is joined to at least one surface of this base material layer. The vinyl chloride resin of such a case refers to a vinyl chloride polymer, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl chloride-acrylate copolymer, vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride, etc., and is formed by mixing a plasticizer, stabilizer, filler, antioxidant, weather resistant agent, into the respective resins alone or a mixture composed of @2 kinds thereof. Further, the vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymn. larger than the average degree of polymn. of the resin constituting the base material layer is used preferably in terms of the stainproofing property, adhesiveness and light transmissivity as the vinyl chloride resin to be used for the skin layer.

CONSTITUTION:The objective soundproofing material is obtained by blending (A) a vinyl chloride-based resin with (B) a plasticizer, (C) barium sulfate as an inorganic extender and (D) a composition obtained by blending (i) antimony trioxide as an essential component with at least one compound selected from (ii) zinc borate, (iii) molybdenum trioxide and (iv) tin oxide. Furthermore, as the component D, a composition obtained by blending 1 pts.wt. component (i) with 0.2-3 pts.wt. component (ii) is preferably used.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight flexible pile sheet hard to deform by intermittently forming projection parts on the rear of the foam sheet bonded to the rear of a pile fabric and reducing the foaming magnification of the projection parts as compared with that of the flat part of the foam sheet. CONSTITUTION:A pile sheet is obtained by bonding a foam sheet to the rear of a pile fabric. In this case, projection parts are intermittently formed on the rear of the foam sheet and the foaming magnification of the projection parts is set so as to become lower than that of the flat part of the foam sheet. That is, a backing material 2 is arranged on the pile fabric 1 and formed from the flat part 3 and the projection parts 5 and fine foams 4 are formed to the flat part 3. At this time, the flat part 3 is formed from a thermoplastic resin having a closed cell structure and the projection parts 5 are formed from a non-foamed thermoplastic resin. By this constitution, the pile sheet having the lightweight flexible flat part 3 and the hard projection parts 5 hard to deform is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flexibility, flexibility resistance, conductivity, and electromagnetic wave shielding property by laminating a metal thin-film layer with a sheet form and a textile fabric layer as the required constituents. SOLUTION: A metal thin-film layer 1 can shield electromagnetic waves for a metal cloth using a conductive metal string even if the fabric (mesh) is of a shape with an air gap in cross section. A metal thin film or a synthetic resin film layer 2 for reinforcing the metal fabric may be laminated between layers or the outside, thus improving such physical strength as flexibility resistance and compression resistance. When a synthetic resin film that is 1-20 μm thickness is to be used as the base of a metal thin film, a synthetic resin film such as ethylene-acetic vinyl copolymer, ABS resin, and polycetal is used. A fabric and a nonwoven fabric that are 30-300 μm thickness can be used as a textile fabric layer 4, and each laminate is used by applying an urethane-based adhesive. Although there is no restriction on the order of laminations, the metal layer is to be the outermost layer.
