    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing a fiber composite sheet, composed of aromatic polymer fiber, excellent in mechanical strength, heat and chemical resistance and flame retardancy, having high productivity and good in operating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber composite sheet is obtained by preparing a sheetlike material from at least one fiber selected from aromatic polymer fiber having thioether bond or ether bond in the main chain and aromatic polymer fiber having sulfone bond in the main chain, then applying an emulsion of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene and/or a chlorinated polyethylene as a binder to the sheetlike material and subsequently dry solidifying the emulsion.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a conjugate fiber having high color-developing property and drapeability, giving a silk-like fabric having excellent feeling, most suitable for clothes, processable without causing problems, giving ultrafine fibers dyeable under normal pressure and effective in producing high-class clothes. CONSTITUTION:The objective splittable conjugate fiber is composed of at least two components A and B. The component A of the conjugate fiber is a copolymerized polyester containing terephthalic acid consisting the major part of the acid component and copolymerized with 8-15mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid and 5-40mol% of isophthalic acid and the component B is a copolymerized polyester containing terephthalic acid consisting of the major part of the acid component and copolvmerized with 1.7-5.5mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid.
