    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a vacuum valve of high reliability without impairing the voltage withstand performance even though the throw-in speed of the electrode is quickened in order to shorten the pre-arc time. CONSTITUTION:A movable side coupling shaft 11 is inserted in a cylindrical movable current feed shaft 7 whose one end is connected to a movable electrode 6, and a shock absorbing body 12 is installed between one end of this coupling shaft 11 and the movable electrode 6. The other end of the coupling shaft 11 is connected to an operating mechanism, and a sliding piece 13 is installed between the current feed shaft 7 and coupling shaft 11 so that sliding takes place for a distance corresponding to elastic deformation of the shock absorbing body 12 when the electrode is electrified.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assemble a vacuum container in a vacuum valve adopting a central hole as a reference so as to improve an insulating property and workability by forming the container into a bottomed cylinder having the central hole where a current carrying shaft is inserted into the axial portion thereof. CONSTITUTION:A central hole 4A, through which a current carrying shaft 2B on a movable side is inserted, is formed in the center of the bottom 1a of a bottomed cylindrical insulating container 1B made of ceramics, and an annular metallized portion 7 is provided in the outer peripheral bottom 1a of the central hole 4A, thus obtaining a vacuum valve. The corner 1b of the insulating container 1B is formed in uniform thickness of a ceramic material and into a curve, for a stable withstand voltage performance in the inserting direction. A sealing metal fitting 5 whose one end is folded in the radial direction to form a flange 5a at one end thereof is inserted between the central hole 4A of the container 1B and the current carrying shaft 2B. The tip end of the flange 5a is further folded back in the axial direction, to be welded to the metallized portion 7 by silver brazing. The lower end of a bellows 8, the upper end of which is joined to the current carrying shaft 2B, is bonded to the flange 5a of the metal fitting 5 and an upper end 5h on an opposite side.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the inductance of a circuit, to simplify a constitution and to make an assembly operation easy by a method wherein one pair of metal lid members are attached airtightly to the opening part of an insulation part, a discharge electrode is attached to their central part and a peaking capacitor is attached to an end part. CONSTITUTION:A lower-part metal lid member 13 is formed of a metal material such as pure copper or the like which is conductive and suitable for an airtight bonding operation. It is constituted of the following: a flange part 24 which is faced with a lower-part insulating-frame edge 18; a lower-part terminal 25 in which its one side is extended to the outside from the lower-part insulating-frame edge 18 in the same manner as an upper-part terminal 21 of an upper-part metal lid member 20; a connection and attachment part 26, of a peaking capacitor 16, in which the other side of the flange 24 on the opposite side is extended to the outside from the lower-part insulating-frame edge 18 in the same manner as a connection and attachment part 22 of the upper-part metal lid lember 20; and an upper-face part 27 which is connected, on a taper face, to the upper side in the central part of the flange part 24. An electrode 5 is attached to the upper side of the upper-part part 27. Since the capacitor can be arranged closely so as to be adjacent to an electric discharge part, the inductance of a circuit can be made small.
