    Abstract: PURPOSE: To realize excellent two-way communication processing with a high frequency utilization efficiency without complicated configuration of a transmission reception circuit when the information amount in an outgoing way from a base station to a terminal equipment is considerably more than an incoming information amount from the terminal equipment to the base station. CONSTITUTION: A difference Δf of center frequencies between an incoming channel with a narrow band and an outgoing channel with a broad band among plural channels CH1 , CH2 ,..., is set to a prescribed value and the channels are allocated to a lower pass band 1 and an upper pass band 2 of a terminal duplexer. The incoming channel and the outgoing channel are arranged among the adjacent channels CH1 , CH2 ,... by alternately replacing the incoming and outgoing channels. Otherwise, an odd channel group 1 (CH1 , CH3 ,...) where the incoming channels are allocated to the lower band and the outgoing channels are allocated to the upper band and an even channel group 2 (CH2 , CH4 ,...) where the incoming channels are allocated to the upper band 2 and the lower channels are allocated to the lower band 1 are grouped and allocated to a terminal equipment.

A modulation part 007 changes the signal transmission speed and outputs a modulated signal to the portable electronic device 001. A propagation path estimation part 013 estimates a propagation path between the base station 000 and portable electronic device 001 and outputs the estimation result to a control part 014. The control part 014 judges whether or not the signal transmission rate of the down link is changed from the output of the propagation path estimation part 013 and generates and outputs a change request signal to a modulation part 015 when the transmission rate is changed.

CONSTITUTION: A base station B preliminarily investigates the statistics of received power when a mobile station 20 requests hand-off operation from the inside of the area of a base station A and the statistics of the received power when the mobile station 20 requests the hand-off operation from the inside of the area of the base station. The base station B performs the monitoring 13 of a channel 1 and predicts the received power measured value and the high and low possibilities that the mobile station requests the hand-off operation for the base station B. If the possibility of the request is high, as a result of this prediction result, the communication quality of the line with the mobile station using the channel 1 is preliminarily investigated. In this case, the base station A quickly copes with the hand-off operation and reduces failure probability by positively using the channel with high probability to be used in the area across the river or the channel which is used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent illegal use and to prevent wire tapping by providing a key object, which can interrupt inside connection, and switching usable and unusable states by this key object. CONSTITUTION:A switch 103 with key is provided on the side face of a telephone set 101, at this switch 103 with key, four notches are provided like 'OFF' to completely disable use, 'origination' to enable only call origination, 'answer' enabling only a response and 'OFF' enabling both the call origination and the response. The switch 103 with key can be changed over only by an exclusive key 104. Further, a channel control processor is provided to change a reception channel at the main body of the telephone set only when a channel change command is applied. By outputting the channel change command at every prescribed time in arbitrary random time on the side of a base station, the reception channel at a portable telephone set each time. Therefore, the third person disables the wire tapping of these communication contents.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a bit error rate of a reception signal by compensating or not compensation a signal distortion in the reception signal by an equalizing means depending on a reception electric field strength of a received digital modulation signal. CONSTITUTION:When the reception state of a digital modulation wave is excellent and the reception electric field strength is strong, demodulation by delay detection is implemented at a delay detection circuit 111 not through an equalizer 110. On the other hand, the reception electric field strength is a prescribed threshold level or below, a CPU 130 controls a switch 144 and a changeover section 108 so that the changeover section 108 throws an output terminal B to the position of the delay detection circuit 111. When the reception state of the digital modulation wave is not excellent and the reception electric field strength is weak, the signal distortion included in the reception signal is reduced by the equalizer 110 and the demodulation by delay detection is implemented by the delay detection circuit 111. Thus, the bit error rate of the reception signal is properly reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a frequency lead-in characteristic and to easily form an LSI by providing an orthogonally demodulating circuit, which fetches an RF signal and converts this RF signal to two signals of an orthogonal base band, and a delay detecting circuit to detect the delay of an output signal from the orthogonal modulating circuit, and removing frequency offset. CONSTITUTION:A signal passing through a low-pass filter 103 after the frequency of a reception signal is converted to an IF frequency, is inputted to a demodulating circuit part 104 to execute carrier extraction and demodulation. The carrier frequency offset is removed from a local oscillator 106 of the demodulating circuit part 104 and the reference carrier of a synchronized phase is obtained. In a delay detection part 111, a value to delay a base band signal from the demodulating circuit part 104 by one time slot is multiplied with the value to calculate the complex conjugate of the base band signal and by deciding a multiplied result with a deciding circuit 115, delay detection is executed. Since the operation of delay detection is wholly executed by base band by using a digital delay circuit, for example, the adjustment can be easily executed.

This correction quantity of amplitude is multiplied by at least one signal in two signals of the I channel and the Q channel inputted to two input points. In such a way, it is unnecessary to adjust the balance of amplitude between the I and the Q channels, and also, it is unnecessary to use an expansion operational amplifier whose temperature characteristic is good.

CONSTITUTION:A memory of a central station 1 stores the information showing the base stations 4-9 that received the radio waves from the slave stations 2 and 3 for each of these slave stations. Thus the information stored in the memory shows the stations 4-9 which can receive the radio waves from both stations 2 and 3. At the same time, a deciding means decides whether or not the signals transmitted from the stations 2 and 3 are received by the stations 4-9 that received signals from the station 1 within a fixed time after the station 1 transmitted and signals. If the signals are not received from the stations 2 and 3 every fixed time or a retransmission request signal is received, the stations 4-9 are selected again based on the information stored in the memory for a base station selecting part to carry out the communication between the station 1 and the slave stations. As a result, the reliability of communication is secured despite the variance of the radio wave situation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize the rising period and to prevent wear in the battery by providing plural consecutive periods when specific information is sent and turning on the power supply for the periods. CONSTITUTION:A message is sent from a base station 1 to a slave station 7 through the use of frame structure and a reception section of the slave station 7 receives the said message. A control section 15 is provided, which turns on a power supply 17 to be supplied to the reception section 9 for a period when specific information is sent from the base station 1. The slave station 7 receives the message corresponding to the specific information and turns on the power supply supplied to the reception section 9 of the slave station 7 for a period when the said message is sent to allow the reception section to be in standby of the transmission of the specific information at all times. The periods when the specific information is sent are provided consecutively to suppress the power consumption consumed at the time of rising the reception section 9 thereby attaining long service life of the battery.
