Abstract:
A foot treating apparatus comprising a basin that is adapted for accepting and containing bathing water and is shaped and arranged to accommodate two human feet within the bathing water. A steam generator is included and adapted to accept and contain steamable water, to convert the steamable water into steam, and to direct the steam through a steam vent disposed above the bathing water and at one or both of the soles of those feet when the feet are removed from the bathing water. Dry massage means, heating means, vibration, and aeration are also provided.
Abstract:
An applicator for use in treating a portion of skin includes an applicator tip that has an end configured to contact the portion of skin, a sonic source mechanically coupled to the applicator tip, a heat source thermally coupled to an end of the applicator tip, and a controller. The applicator tip includes a thermally-conductive material. During operation of the applicator, the controller controls operation of the sonic source to impart mechanical movements to the applicator tip at a sonic frequency and controls operation of the heat source to transfer heat to the end of the applicator tip via the thermally- conductive material of the applicator tip.
Abstract:
A temperature-controlled massage node that imparts either or both a heating or cooling effects is provided, which may be attached to a massager to impart a heating or cooling effect on a user with a massage effect, or optionally, without a massage effect. The temperature-controlled massage node may be affixed to the massager or may be removably coupled. The temperature-controlled massage node may be powered by the same power source as the massager or may include an independent power source located, for example, in the massage node. The massage node may be used with a massager that provides percussive massage effects, such as a massage gun, or may be used with a vibrating massager. Optionally, the massage node may include independent power, a controller and a motor to supply both a vibrating massage effect and hot and cold effect, either alone or in combination.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermotherapy device. More specifically, the present invention relates to a thermotherapy device which can receive a current from a power supply part even when a heating part for heating a ceramic part rotates together with the ceramic part. To this end, the thermotherapy device comprises: the ceramic part having an inner space formed therein; the heating part inserted in the inner space and having a heating element, generating heat so as to heat the ceramic part, and a transfer member transferring the heat generated by the heating element to the ceramic part; the power supply part supplying a current to the heating part; and a support part supporting the ceramic part, wherein the heating part can rotate relative to the power supply part such that the heating part rotates together with the ceramic part.
Abstract:
A soaking basin is provided having a magnetic jet assembly positioned to provide a therapeutic liquid circulation within the basin. The magnetic jet includes an impeller assembly and a drive assembly. The impeller assembly operatively coupled to the magnetic drive assembly only via magnetic attraction, such that a basin wall and a disposable liner are disposed between the impeller assembly and the magnetic drive assembly.

Abstract:
It is one aspect to provide a novel trigger point therapy device which is effective for pain management with the treatment of trigger points, releasing tight and painful myofascial fascia, and general self massage. In preferred embodiments, the apparatus comprises: a flexible strap; a first knob mounted to the strap and protruding out from a side of the strap; a second knob mounted proximate to the first knob and protruding out from the side of the strap in the same direction as the first knob; and a strap adjustment means; and wherein the device is configured so that a user may apply varying degrees of pressure to tight and painful myofascial fascia providing hands free self massage.
Abstract:
In a hand warmer, a heat dissipating plate is thermally coupled to a heater that is supplied with current by a battery that is accommodated in a case. The battery is a box-shaped rechargeable battery of a box-shaped rechargeable lithium-ion battery or lithium-polymer battery that has flat surfaces opposed to each other. The heater is a heating element that is opposed to the flat surface of the battery. A shielding plate is arranged between the heating element and the flat surface of the battery. The heat dissipating plate that is thermally coupled to the heating element is secured to the case on the surface side of the case. In the hand warmer, the flat surface of the box-shaped rechargeable battery, the shielding plate and the heat dissipating plate are arranged in a stack structure. The heat dissipating plate is heated by the heating element.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a cervical traction pillow includes a cervical traction pillow main body and a massage device. The cervical traction pillow main body is a flexible cervical traction pillow main body with a narrow upper part and a wide lower part, so as to form a neck brace traction portion at an upper end and a base at a lower end, a first back portion connected between the neck brace traction portion and the base, and two first side portions opposite and connected to the neck brace traction portion, the base, and the back portion. The neck brace traction portion and a bottom surface of the base are connected in an acute angle. The massage device is arranged on the cervical traction pillow main body.
Abstract:
A massage apparatus with integrated rotating and reciprocating massage mechanisms is capable of providing distinct shiatsu and tapping massage effects independently and simultaneously. The massage apparatus includes at least one rotating massage node rotating about an axis to form a circular path and at least one reciprocating massage node reciprocating inside the circular path. The rotating massage node(s) may rotate on a rotating base driven by a rotating drive mechanism (e.g., a motor), and the reciprocating massage node(s) may be driven by a reciprocating drive mechanism (e.g., a solenoid) through an aperture in the rotating base. The massage apparatus may include one or more sets of integrated rotating and reciprocating massage mechanisms. The massage apparatus may be enclosed in different types of enclosures (e.g., massage chair, cushion, chair topper, drapable enclosure) configured to engage various parts of the body (e.g., neck, back, shoulders) to impart the massage effects.
