Eine Beleimungsvorrichtung für eine Wellpappen-Anlage ist mit einer Riffelwalze (6) und einem Leimwerk (12) versehen. Die Ist-Größe des zwischen der Riffelwalze (6) und der Leimauftragswalze (18) des Leimwerks (12) gebildeten Leimauftragsspaltes (20) ist über eine Regeleinrichtung (24) und einen Verstellantrieb (30) auf eine Soll-Größe regelbar.
Abstract:
In a coating system, two rollers are arranged adjacent to one another. A donor foil with rheological material dispensed thereon is advanced through a gap between the two rollers. Such gap spreads the dispensed material over the donor foil, coating the donor foil with a layer of the material with a uniform thickness associated with the gap width. Each roller is supported on a holder. Adjustment of the gap width may be effected by keeping the position of one of the holders fixed, while horizontally translating the position of the other holder. The position of the translatable holder may be adjusted by pistons and linear actuators. The pistons may bias the moveable holder towards the stationary holder. The linear actuators mounted on the moveable holder may extend respective arms against the stationary holder, thereby countering the biasing of the pistons and pushing the moveable holder away from the stationary holder.

The application provides a movable apparatus for forming a thermo-softening part. The apparatus includes a first placement unit, a second placement unit, and a heat source. The first placement unit comprises one or more first rollers, which are movable in a first predetermined path. The second placement unit comprises one or more second rollers, which correspond to the first rollers. The second rollers are movable in a second predetermined path. The heat source is provided for heating an elongated thermo-softening material to a predetermined temperature. The first rollers and the second rollers are provided on opposite sides of the elongated thermo-softening material for compressing the thermo-softening material to form the thermo-softening material.

Also disclosed are methods for substrate preparation, flow coating and roll coating. Lastly systems and methods for skin curing sol-gel coatings deposited onto the surface of glass substrates using a high temperature air-knife are disclosed.

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Leimauftragsstation (10) zum formatmäßigen Auftragen von Leim bzw. Klebstoff (6) auf Werkstücke in der Produktion von Säcken. Diese (10) beinhaltet ein Leimgehäuse (5), welches den Leim bzw. Klebstoff (6) enthält, eine Auftragswalze (1), mit welcher Leim bzw. Klebstoff (6) aus dem Leimgehäuse entnommen und auf das Klischee des Klischeezylinders (3) aufgetragen werden kann, welches den Leim formatmäßig auf das Werkstück (7) überträgt. Ferner zählt dazu zumindest eine Dosierwalze (2), mit welcher die Menge des Leims, den die Auftragswalze (1) aus dem Leimgehäuse entnimmt, beeinflussbar ist, sowie einen Gegendruckzylinder (4), auf welchem (4) das Werkstück beim Leimübertrag des Klischeezylinders (3) führbar ist und mit Beabstandungsvorrichtungen, beispielsweise Spindeln, mit denen die radialen Positionen der vorgenannten Walzen (1, 2, 3, 4) zueinander, zur Regelung der Leimauftragsmenge, einstellbar sind. Die Beabstandungsvorrichtung ist über Motoren antreibbar.
