Abstract:
An acoustic transducer 1 has a first cylindrical portion 1A and a second hemispherical portion 1B on which a plurality of transducer elements 10a, 10b are arranged. The transducer elements on the cylindrical portion are arranged to have six nearest neighbors. The arrangement may be such that the six transducer elements surrounding a given element describe the vertices of a regular hexagon. The hexagons thus described may be aligned so that two of their sides are parallel to the axis of the cylinder. The elements on the hemispherical portion may be arranged so that some elements have five nearest neighbors and others have six (the neighboring elements describing, for example, the vertices of hexagons and pentagons respectively). An underwater sounding apparatus may be constructed using the transducer.

This invention discloses electronic circuit that can be either embedded inn oceanographic sonobuoy housing or used as stand-alone equipment and which establishes and generates sonar signals of a repetition rate, pulse length, and amplitude pulse shape which are all programmably variable, selectable and determinable. A plurality of predetermined sonar pulse "profiles" are stored in a read only memory (ROM). A particular profile is selected from this memory and this profile is generated point by point at a selected frequency.

A substrate (2) has a surface on which is provided a modifying layer which is incomplete and has a distribution such as to provide a plurality of islands of said material and/or islands of substrate surface whereby the surface exhibits a modified electrical and/or magnetic property. As shown, substrate (2) is piezoelectric, and has a central electrode (9) and a peripheral electrode (10), between which are deposited a large number of electrically conductive dots having a dot density which decreases with distance from electrode (9). The construction acts as a sonar transducer over a relatively wide frequency range.

Provided is a circuit for driving a magnetostrictive device including: a high voltage interrupting circuit section (C 2 ,R 1 ) for interrupting an instantaneously leaking high voltage depending on the switching operation of a power switch (SW); a voltage storage section (C 1 ) for rectifying an input voltage for a half of the positive cycle and storing it; a switching circuit section (Q 1 ) for supplying the voltage stored in the voltage storage section to the magnetostrictive device; and a voltage discharging circuit section (R 5 ) for discharge the voltage remaining in the voltage storage section when the power is interrupted.

Es ist eine Vorrichtung zur Feststellung und/oder Überwachung eines vorbestimmten Füllstands in einem Behälter vorgesehen, bei der das Empfangssignal (E) dem gewünschten Meßsignal entspricht und bei der zwischen dem Sendesignal und dem Empfangssignal (E) bei der Resonanzfrequenz (f r ) des mechanischen Schwingungsgebildes (1) eine feste Phasendifferenz (Δφ R ) besteht, die unabhängig Schwingungsgüte der Vorrichtung ist. Sie umfaßt ein mechanisches Schwingungsgebilde (1) und ein piezolelektrisches Element (2), das mindestens drei Bereiche aufweist,einen ersten eine Sendeelektrode (21) aufweisenden Bereich (I), einen zweiten eine erste Empfangselektrode (22) aufweisenden Bereich (II) und einen dritten eine zweite Empfangselektrode (23) aufweisenden Bereich (III), wobei die beiden Empfangselektroden (22, 33) formgleich sind und symmetrisch zueinander und zu der Sendeelektrode (21) angeordnet sind und wobei das piezoelektrische Element (2) im ersten und im zweiten Bereich (I, II) eine Polarisation aufweist, die einer Polarisation des dritten Bereichs (III) entgegengerichtet ist. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress grating lobes in the vertical direction, and to minimize directivity deviations by devising the arrangement of a vibrator in a handset, comprising a cylindrical section and a hemispherical section. SOLUTION: The vibrator 10a is arranged so that six vibrators adjacent to one vibrator are positioned at each apex of a regular hexagon 8 in the cylindrical section 1A, and a set of facing sides 9 of the regular hexagon 8 are arranged so that they face a perpendicular direction. When a figure, obtained by projecting a regular pentagon for composing a regular dodecahedron inscribed to the spherical surface of the hemispherical section 1B, is set to be a spherical pentagon 5 in the hemispherical section 1B, a vibrator 10b is arranged at the apex of the spherical triangle 6 for constituting the components of the spherical pentagon 5, a point for equally dividing each side of the spherical triangle 6, and the center of gravity of a small spherical triangle formed by an arc for connecting the equal division points. 본 발명은 물 속의 투명 다리에 관한 것으로서 강화유리로 육면체의 다리를 형성하고 다리의 아래면의 부분에 기포 발생장치를 형성하거나 연무기로 연기를 발생시키거나 초음파 진동자를 형성하여 수증기를 발생시켜서 투명다리 내부로 유입시키거나 아래면의 부분에 거울을 형성하거나 LED등으로 점등하거나 LED등 위에 간유리를 형성하여 전체적으로 색조를 형성하게 하되 이상을 유선으로 스위치에 의해서 작동시키거나 스마트 폰등으로 무선으로 작동시키는 것이다.
