Abstract:
La presente invención se refiere a un artículo de polímero de tipo PEEK poroso que comprende una estructura de polímero de tipo PEEK porosa y que presenta al menos una distribución de poros trimodal. La invención describe un procedimiento para la producción de dicho artículo de polímero de tipo PEEK poroso que comprende: a) poner en contacto un polímero de tipo PEEK con una composición que comprende al menos un disolvente orgánico, b) calentar a una temperatura a la que se disuelve el polímero de tipo PEEK, c) añadir al menos un agente porógeno, d) enfriar la mezcla obtenida en c) a una temperatura al menos igual o menor que la temperatura a la que precipita el polímero de tipo PEEK, e) conformar dicha mezcla enfriada para dar un artículo conformado, f) retirar el disolvente orgánico y el agente porógeno, y g) recuperar el artículo de polímero de tipo PEEK.
Abstract:
Compositions of and a method for preparing polymeric formulations that gradually, continuously and uniformly release various compounds over a long period of time in ionic form that are well recognized as essential to the growth of agricultural commodities. The compounds, such as inorganic salts of varying water solubilities, are monolithically incorporated into a thermoplastic matrix containing porosigens to regulate the release rate. Said porosigens can be the low or moderate soluble salts such as the carbonate, bicarbonates, sulfates, phosphates, nitrates, etc.; of the alkali metals, the alkaline earths or ammonium. Upon exposure to moisture, water ingress into the dispensing pellet removes said porosigen through dissolution processes thus creating a porous network permitting water contact with the incorporated nutrient molecules and their gradual egress in said water over a period of time such as for about a couple of months to four years, or longer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for use with a surgical fastening device.SOLUTION: The gasket is for use with a surgical stapling apparatus, and the gasket comprises: a body portion which has an upper surface and a lower surface and defines a central longitudinal axis extending between the upper surface and the lower surface; and a plurality of pores extending through the body portion, each of which extends from the upper surface to the lower surface and defines an axis that is substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis as a result. The body portion has an outer side region disposed on the outer side of the plurality of pores, and the outer side region is substantially non-porous.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer having open cell, composed of a thermoplastic elastomer, excellent in a liquid-absorbing property and a property discharging a liquid and an elastomer having open cell and excellent in chemical resistance, low elution property, etc., and a draining roller, a squeezing roller and a swab obtained by using the elastomer and to provide a method for producing the elastomer having open cell. SOLUTION: The elastomer having open cell is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer and has a three-dimensional film structure. In the elastomer, 20-100 pores having ≥40 μm maximum diameter are contained in a cutting face having 500 μm×500 μm diameter and these pores are formed of a film and ≥70% of these pores contain ≥3 through holes each having ≤20 μm opening maximum diameter of ≥1/20 based on maximum diameter of these pores in each pore.
