Abstract:
The present invention provides a heat-resistant, laminated conveyer belt (14) comprising an reinforcing layer (11) obtained by impregnating fluoroplastic into a heat-resistant fiber base cloth, drying and sintering the base cloth and a wear-resistant layer (12), formed on the reinforcing layer (11), obtained by impregnating fluoroplastic into a base cloth formed by weaving heat-resistant fiber in the form of a knit weave, drying and sintering the base cloth, and its manufacturing method.
Abstract:
An isotropic electrically conductive composite is disclosed. The composite can include a dielectric polymer material with a polarizable material substantially dispersed within the dielectric polymer material, wherein the polarizable material is configured to be polarized and to provide a polar discharge response, and a continuous conductive material substantially covered by the dielectric polymer material, wherein the continuous conductive material extends substantially throughout the dielectric polymer material and is configured to be responsive to the polar discharge response, wherein the isotropic electrically conductive composite is non-aqueous.
Abstract:
A method of making a mat with a textile surface and an elastomer backing is provided. The method includes mixing elastomer crumbs and a binder, depositing the crumb/binder mixture in a layer (22), placing a textile surface element (34) on the layer to form a mat assembly, and pressing the mat assembly in a press (9) while setting the binder. The elastomer crumbs are consolidated to form an elastomer backing (2) that includes voids between the elastomer crumbs, and the textile surface element is bonded to the elastomer backing to form the upper textile layer (1) of the mat.
Abstract:
Method to enhance the electrical conductivity of a carbon-containing film material such as a hot melt for carpet backing. The method involves applying a plurality of arcs across the surface of the film passing under a plurality of electrodes to create a plurality of small crater-like holes in the surface of the film. The film material may be adhered to a carpet material and the crater-like holes acting to increase the anti-static property of the carpet.
Abstract:
A tufted carpet comprises consecutively a primary backing stitched with loops of yarn to form a tufted structure projecting outwardly from the primary backing, a layer of latex, a layer of polyolefin, and a secondary backing comprising a woven polyolefin.
