An interlockable brick/block can be interlocked side-by-side with identical bricks/blocks and/or with similar bricks/blocks having sides of complementary shape. The brick/block comprises a lower block portion (101,201,301) and a top finish layer (102,202,302) of granite, marble, ceramic, porcelain or terra cotta or imitations thereof that is permanently or removably fixed on the lower block portion. The lower block portion (101,201,301) has a side of given peripheral shape that defines an interlocking periphery for side-by-$jde fitting with identical bricks/blocks and/or with similar bricks/blocks having sides of complementary shape, The top finish layer (102,202,302) is flat but can have a beveled edge. The brick/block is suitable for applying a top finish surface of granite, marble, ceramic, porcelain or terra cotta or imitations to a floor, pavement or the like.

The invention relates to a shaped block (1), especially a concrete block, for paving. The inventive block has groove-shaped recesses (9, 16) on the underside (8) for improved water drainage, said recesses being positioned preferably vertically on top of each other so as to form cross-shaped channels.

A paving block (1) which incorporates a rigid base section (2) having upper and lower surfaces, a plurality of tiles (3, 4, 5) each having upper and lower faces, and bonding agent (6) which extends from the base section (2) in gaps (10, 10a) between the tiles. The said tiles (3, 4, 5) are affixed to the base section (2) and the bonding agent (6) extends from the base section to a level between the lower and upper faces of the respective tiles. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such a paving block in a mould, wherein the gaps (10, 10a) between the tiles (3, 4, 5) are partially filled with a non-adhesive filler before the bonding agent (6) is introduced into the mould.

본 고안은 천연산 암석을 일정형태로 가공하여 제공하는 차도블록에 관한 것으로, 천연암석의 풍부성과 우수한 결정구조 그리고 미려한 색상의 자연석을 가공하여 논-슬립형(non-slip type)의 차도용 블록을 제공하므로, 유해성분이 없이 도시미관의 향상과 투수성에 기인한 토양 및 주변식생물의 보호가 가능해지고, 각각의 무늬모양 및 색상을 달리하는 블록의 조합으로 자연적인 차선(車線)을 형성케 하거나, 미끄럼방지를 통해 안전성을 증가시킨 자연석을 이용한 차도블록에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 고안은 석회암이나 돌로마이트가 변성작용을 받아 재결정된 천연암석에 있어서, 상기 추출된 암석을 무늬결과 색상이 고루 표현될 수 있도록 일정한 형태와 크기의 블록으로 절삭가공하되, 상부의 표면으로는 미끄럼방지기능을 위해 표면 요철부를 형성시킨 것을 특징으로 하고 있다.

PURPOSE: A roadway block using native rock is provided to promote the protection of environment by manufacturing a non-slip type roadway block using native rock, to form a natural lane by compounding blocks having various patterns and colors and to increase the safety by preventing from slipping. CONSTITUTION: The roadway block(10) using native rock is manufactured by cutting off native rock formed by metamorphosing limestone or dolomite into the appointed shape and size to express patterns and colors, then forming a surface projection(10a) on the upper surface to prevent from slipping.

PURPOSE: A paving material and a construction method thereof are provided to be formed with various colors and patterns by loading a base layer and an elastic layer on the top surface of a flattened compacting layer. CONSTITUTION: A paving material(100) comprises a base layer(120), an auxiliary base layer(130), a surface layer(160), and a boundary layer(170). The base layer is formed using circulation aggregate, cement, and compound solution. The auxiliary base layer is formed on the top surface of the base layer. The surface layer is made of one of fine-textured aggregate, regenerative aggregate, clay block, scraps, rubber chips, fine aggregate, waste tire rubber chips. The boundary layer is formed on the top of the top surface of the surface layer.

Procédure de construction de revêtement de sols selon laquelle, l'on dispose sur le substrat à paver un support en aggloméré d'asphalte (AA) de nature flexible, sur lequel on place une structure continue (EC) formée par des carreaux (1), de nature flexible et de petite épaisseur, adossés entre eux. On dispose aussi une imprégnation de résine liquide thermoplastique (RL) entre le support en aggloméré d'asphalte (AA) et la structure continue (EC). La structure continue (EC) est constituée par des carreaux (1) placés selon un patron déterminé, qui sont obtenus dans des moules et présentent la finition souhaitée et différente pour chaque tronçon de revêtement de sol que l'on désire obtenir dans chaque cas. Sa face visible peut comporter une ou plusieurs couches de finition (2). Dans le revêtement de sol obtenu, les dits carreaux (1) ont une épaisseur inférieure à 40 millimètres et sont constitués par, au moins, une résine thermoplastique (11) mélangée avec, au moins, un agrégat (12).

A decorative paving tile or panel comprises a plurality of irregularly shaped stone elements of the same or differing thickness embedded in a backing layer or base to form a tile or panel of the predetermined thickness wherein the normally exposed surfaces of said stone elements lie in a plane substantially parallel to a mounting surface of said backing layer or base. A flowable displacement material may be employed in the interstices between adjacent stone elements and/or a boundary wall of a tile or panel mould to forma grouting channel. An irregular space between adjacent stone elements of adjacent tiles or panels allows the formation of an optically seamless tiled or panelled surface when grouted.
