Eine wesentliche Verbilligung bei der Herstellung von Schaltungsplatten, insbesondere für Tastenwahlblöcke, wird dadurch erreicht, daß sowohl die Schaltungsträgerplatte als auch das an ihr vorzusehende Leitermuster und auch Anschlußbereiche zu mehradrigen Kabeln jeweils als Spritzgußgebilde hergestellt werden.

An improved, low cost, high speed keyboard encoding device is provided which develops directly encoded, valid and reliable multi-bit output signals and overcomes problems associated with tolerance errors and adverse environmental and usage conditions (e.g., manufacturing errors, dust, wear). The preferred encoding device includes a plurality of juxtaposed, flexible conductive strands or wires each having a number of axially spaced impact zones along the length thereof which are either insulated or electrically conductive; corresponding zones on the separate wires are operably aligned to cooperatively define a series of spaced impact zone sets each made up of a unique pattern of conductive and insulated zones. An electrically conductive, rubber-like resilient pad having a series of ridge-like elongated members respectively aligned with corre- s pon d ing impact zone sets is also provided which is designed for impact-shifting of the members into momentary contact with the associated zone sets, whereby electrical contact is made between the ridge members and the conductive impact zones of the set. The resulting circuit making and current flow directly generates a momentary, unique, digitalized output signal without the need for conventional encoding electronic circuitry. The device is particularly suited for use in an impact-type keyboard where, upon depression of each key, an associated resilient element is shifted, released, and allowed to overtravel its rest position and momentarily strike the encoding device at a location for shifting the appropriate pad ridge into contact with the adjacent impact zone set.

Cured unitary molded articles containing conductive and insulating silicone rubber components are prepared by tightly contacting a curable insulating silicone rubber composition comprising a curable silicone rubber containing substantially no carbon black and a nonacyl-type peroxide with a cured conductive silicone rubber component containing carbon black and which has been cured by an addition reaction in the presence of a platinum-type catalyst and molding the resultant composition at elevated temperatures to cure the insulating silicone rubber component and form a unitary cured silicone rubber article. This invention also relates to cured silicone rubber articles prepared using the method of this invention.

A hearing assistance device (100), comprising a microphone (101) to receive sound, signal processing electronics electrically connected to the microphone, a receiver electrically connected to the signal processing electronics and a switch (102) electrically connected to the signal processing electronics. The switch (102) includes conductive silicone (106) adapted to change the switch from a first state to a second state when activated. Contacts comprising conductive silicone (105) provide an electrical connection between the microphone (101) and the signal processing electronics.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tastatur sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Tastatur zum Auslösen von elektrischen Schaltfunktionen mit einem eine erste Kontaktstruktur aufweisenden ersten Substrat, einem eine zweite Kontaktstruktur aufweisenden zweiten Substrat sowie einer Zwischenschicht, welche die beiden Kontaktstrukturen auf Abstand hält und bei Druckausübung an vorgegebenen Bereichen der Tastatur einen Kontakt der beiden Kontaktstrukturen ermöglicht. Die beiden Kontaktstrukturen sind dabei mittels eines Massendruckverfahrens aufgedruckt.

A thermally curable conductive polymer thick film composition comprising, by weight: (a) about 3-15 parts of at least one thermoplastic vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride/dicarboxylic acid multipolymer resin; (b) a second thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of: (i) about 1-6 parts of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane resin; (ii) about 2-10 parts of at least one thermoplastic polyester resin; or (iii) about 1-10 parts of a mixture of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane and at least one thermoplastic polyester resin; (c) about 0.05-1 part of a tertiary amine; (d) an effective amount of at least one organic solvent capable of substantially dissolving (a), (b), and (c) ingredients; and (e) about 50-80 parts of silver flake.
