Abstract: The present invention relates to an efficient waterborne nano-silicon rubber sealing waterproof agent, comprising following components in parts by weight: 10˜90 parts of nano-silica gel, 10˜100 parts of nano-diatomaceous earth, 5˜150 parts of nano polyurethane, 15˜200 parts of nano inorganic dry powder, 10˜100 parts of nano methyl cellulose, 10˜150 parts of a chelating agent, 15˜200 parts of an expansion agent, 10˜250 parts of a strengthening agent, 5˜100 parts of an antifreezing agent, 2˜150 parts of a heat-resistant agent and 10˜100 parts of an acid and alkali-resistant agent. The efficient waterborne nano-silicon rubber sealing waterproof agent has good waterproofness, permeability, film forming property, elasticity, adhesion, water resistance and heat, humid and high temperature resistance, is suitable for being used for waterproof, anti-seepage and anti-leakage repair projects of underground engineering and roofing, and is an excellent vapor barrier material in a refrigerating chamber.

Abstract: A resin composition includes an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) having an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mol %, a polyamide (B), a carboxylic acid metal salt (C), and a saturated carbonyl compound (D) having 3 to 8 carbon atoms. The saturated carbonyl compound (D) is a saturated aldehyde, a saturated ketone, or a combination thereof. The mass ratio (A/B) of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) to the polyamide (B) is 60/40 to 95/5. The content of the carboxylic acid metal salt (C) expressed as a mass of a metal element with respect to the resin content is 1 to 500 ppm. The content of the saturated carbonyl compound (D) with respect to the resin content is 0.01 ppm to 100 ppm.

Abstract: A flame retardant compound is provided. The flame retardant compound includes a polymer base resin, a carbonific host compound, and a guest compound including at least one atom of a transition metal. The carbonific host compound and the guest compound form a host-guest complex, and the host-guest complex acts to inhibit at least one of smoke release and smoke formation when exposed to heat. The host-guest complex is distributed within the polymer base resin. An intumescent flame retardant compound is also provided. The intumescent flame retardant compound includes a base resin, an acid donor, a spumific agent, a cyclodextrin host compound, and a guest compound including at least one atom of molybdenum. The cyclodextrin host compound and the guest compound form a host-guest complex. The acid donor, carbonific host compound, and spumific agent react when exposed to a temperature above 280° C. to form a foam.

Abstract: Hydrotetrazine compounds having antioxidant properties and uses thereof are described herein. These compounds may be dihydrotetrazines, tetrahydrotetrazines, or hexahydrotetrazines that can be utilized as antioxidants for use in thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers; free radical inhibitors to stabilize reactive chemicals, such as monomers against free radical polymerizations; and as anticorrosion agents in coatings to protect against metal oxidation. The hydrogenated tetrazines can donate hydrogen atom equivalents to terminate radical chain reactions. These compounds can change colors to signal when oxidation has occurred, and can be further recycled by reduction reactions.

Abstract: An interior and exterior member for an automobile includes a thermoplastic resin composition including components (A) and (B). The component (A) is a polycarbonate resin mixture including a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound and a structural unit derived from cyclohexanedimethanol, wherein the structural unit is in an amount accounting for from 56 mol % to 60 mol % of the total amount of the structural unit and the structural unit derived from cyclohexanedimethanol, and the component (B) is butadiene-butyl acrylate-methyl methacrylate rubber. The thermoplastic resin composition further includes dibutylhydroxytoluene in an amount accounting for from 0.005 parts to 0.015 parts by mass, a benzotriazole-based light resistance stabilizer in an amount accounting for from 0.08 parts to 0.12 parts by mass, and a hindered amine-based light resistance stabilizer in an amount accounting for from 0.04 parts to 0.06 parts by mass, respectively, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the components (A) and (B). The component (A) is in an amount accounting for from 93% to 97% by mass of the total amount of the components (A) and (B).
