Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-rolling lubricant good in workability and excellent in seizure resistance and to provide a method for surface-treating a mandrel bar for the production of hot-rolled seamless pipes using the lubricant. SOLUTION: A hot rolling tool lubricant prepared by dispersing or dissolving an oxide-type layered compound such as potassium tetrasilicon mica, sodium tetrasilicon mica, vermiculite, or bentonite, a boric acid compound such as boric acid, potassium borate, or sodium borate, and graphite in water, wherein the mixing ratio of the oxide-type layered compound to the boric acid compound is 10:90 to 70:30 by mass ratio, and the content of the graphite is 1.0-4.5%. When the lubricant is applied to the surface of a mandrel bar during mandrel mill drawing, the lubricant forms a lubricating film on the bar surface and can exhibit excellent seizure resistance. In addition, it does not happen that the lubricant remains on the inside pipe surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant for hot plastic processing that exhibits excellent lubricity and suppliability and exerts no bad influences on corrosion resistance of a product, and an outer surface-lubricating method in the manufacture of a seamless pipe using the lubricant. SOLUTION: The lubricant for hot plastic processing includes 20-40 mass% of iron oxide and 10-30 mass% of sodium silicate and has an impurity content of at most 3 mass% and a water content of 40-60 mass%. The lubricant is suitably applied to lubrication of, for example, a guide shoe at the time of piercing rolling of a high Cr steel. When the lubricant is used, it is directly applied on the outer surface of a material to be processed just before piercing rolling (desirably within 1 second before the beginning of the piercing rolling). Abstract:
An aqueous lubricant used for plastic working of metallic material which comprises (A) a water soluble inorganic salt, (B) lubricative agent selected from molybdenum disulfide and graphite and (C) wax, wherein the components are dissolved or dispersed in water, and wherein a concentration ratio (weight ratio) of (B) /(A) is in the range of 1.0 SIMILAR 5.0 and (C) / (A) is 0.1 SIMILAR 1. 0. And a method of lubricative film processing on a metallic material, in that the lubricative film formed by applying the aqueous lubricant is in a dried weight of 0.5 SIMILAR 40g/m . A water soluble inorganic salt (A) is preferably selected from the group consisting of a sulfate, a silicate, a borate, a molybdete and a tungstate. The wax (C) is preferably a natural wax or a synthetic wax which is dispersed in water and has a melting point of 70 SIMILAR 150 DEG C. The aqueous lubricant can be used for imparting excellent lubricity with ease to the surface of a metal having no chemical conversion layer formed thereon.
Abstract:
A rolling bearing which has a satisfactory life at a low cost even under such service conditions that water is incorporated into a lubricant either externally or due to dew condensation, or that vibration has an influence, and is particularly suitable for electrical equipment and accessories of automobile engines, such as alternators. The hydrogen ion index pH of a grease scaled in the interior of the bearing is adjusted to 7 to 13. For attaining similar effects, the pH of the grease is adjusted to 5 to 13 when an organic metal salt or ADTC has been added in a predetermined amount to the grease, when an inorganic compound having an average particle diameter of not more than 2 Ám has been added in a predetermined amount to the grease, or when a diurea compound containing an aromatic amine or a mixture of diurea compounds has been added as a thickening agent to the grease.
