Abstract: A low gloss ASA-based resin composition having excellent weatherability and heat resistance is provided. The low gloss ASA-based resin composition is obtained by blending a general SAN copolymer, a heat-resistant SAN copolymer, a crosslinked aromatic vinyl compound-cyanide vinyl compound copolymer, and an amorphous inorganic material with large diameter and extra-large diameter ASA graft copolymers at a predetermined composition ratio. The low gloss ASA-based resin composition is useful in the manufacture of a high-quality molded article in which gloss characteristics are uniformly exhibited because impact resistance, heat resistance, flowability, weatherability, and low gloss characteristics are all excellent, and particularly, the gloss deviation on the entire surface of the injection molded article is significantly reduced.

Abstract: The present application relates to a cured product and the use thereof. When the cured product, for example, is applied to a semiconductor device such as an LED or the like, the decrease in brightness may be minimized even upon the long-term use of the device, and since the cured product has excellent cracking resistance, the device having high long-term reliability may be provided. The cured product has excellent processability, workability, and adhesive properties or the like, and does not cause whitening and surface stickiness, etc. Further, the cured product exhibits excellent heat resistance at high temperature, gas barrier properties, etc. The cured product may be, for example, applied as an encapsulant or an adhesive material of a semiconductor device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic composition comprising 10 to 45 weight percent glass fiber, 5 to 15 weight percent of a metal dialkyl phosphinate, 1 to 5 weight percent melamine polyphosphate and a compatibilized blend formed from 20 to 60 weight percent of polyamide, 10 to 40 weight percent of polyphenylene ether, and 0.05 to 2 weight percent of a compatibilizing agent, wherein weight percent is based on the combined weight of the polyamide, polyphenylene ether, compatibilizing agent, glass fiber, metal dialkyl phosphinate and melamine polyphosphate, and the composition is free of borate compounds. The composition has a UL94 rating of V0 at a thickness of 1.5 millimeters.
